i bought star citizen the other week and i thought id use shadow to let me play the game i looked online on how to make it work better and it told me to change the priority of the game in task manager so i went into task manager and it wouldnt let me change the priority it kept saying “unable to change priority” so me being the idiot i am and didnt read the rules i booted it up into safe mode then i couldnt get onto my shadow. i just wanted to change the priority so the game would run a little more smooth cant you do that or is my shadow just being like that?
Hi there. I have been playing Diablo 2 resurrected on my MacBook using shadow just fine until yesterday’s patch. Now, my game has been freezing after character selection, so I don’t make it through to the actual game. Has anyone been experiencing this issue? thank you
So I just got shadow and nothing is going good.Im setting everything up and I have no audio so I go to check the audio and none of my drives are there. Not even the laptop speakers. I watch a couple of YouTube videos and they have on usb forwarding but I don’t have the option for it. I’m using a hyperx quad cast and a turtle beach headset. If someone can help it would be greatly appreciated.
So; recently I allowed shadow to swap me over to their newer servers and with doing so I realized that my shadow is using a hard drive that literally can’t even install Call of Duty: Black Ops (One) in less then 2-5 minutes and I know this is purely a storage speed issue because thats the only difference I can find in the shadow pc I mean this has gotten so bad that I can’t even load a webpage in less then 30 seconds anymore; and its starting to piss me off; when the price for shadow increased to 30 I didn’t mind it; but now I can’t even install a game because of the storage speed; at this point minus ingame performance; my normal computer is better then the shadow computer; and its a 5 year old workstation with integrated graphics and a 2tb 7200rpm barracuda hdd shadow please change the hard drives because at this point you’re literally scamming the people that decide to use this service out of 30 dollars a month*Edit: sorry scratch not being able to install a game; change that to No
Hello! Your Shadow computer freezes all the time no matter what I do. Even at startup. I have to restart and turn it off every time and it freezes again. The picture becomes static and nothing can be done. Nothing responds to any keyboard mouse actions!!!!!! And I constantly get an error U-103. To restart Shadow You have to constantly turn it off through the task manager. We need to do something, because it makes no sense to renew the subscription like that!!
Shadow on Chromebook Question!I have the Samsung Galaxy Chromebook and was wondering if anyone knows any alternative to shadow on Chromebook besides using the android app? I’ve seen some posts of people using the Linux version of shadow for their Chromebook and apparently it’s the greatest thing to use. However I’m a bit confused on how to do all that and was hoping if someone here could direct me in the right direction if possible.
Since a couple of days I have been experiencing lots of issues. Ranging from crashes of the actual pc (not the launcher) and now I can’t even launch the instance. It says it is ready and almost done but then the launcher freezes. Tried everything from reinstalling and contacting support but haven’t heard anything back yet. Also sent my logs but no work back yet. It’s getting very annoying because now I literally can’t do anything and there is no way to get in contact with support. It’s pretty weird because all my other experiences with support have been great and very responsive. Maybe something to add the crashes started when EasyAntiCheat started acting up (maybe antivirus related so I uninstalled avg).Anyways I hope someone on here could point me in the right direction as I'm pretty much losing hope as I use this for work the majority of the time.edit: when I try to display safe mode the same thing happens, the launcher freezes and crashes.
I have tried the varying solutions to fixing my audio. My Mac has sound on every device I use whether that is usb audio, external, speakers. Shadow virtual audio does not show available at all. I am using an HDMI to usbC adapter to my monitor (which has not audio output). Any help would be welcomed
I just renewed my subscription after it was on hold and I was logged in. Then saw that I can finally purchase storage so I bought it. Do I have to wait to migrate to the new data center and is the storage upgrade a brand new drive instead of replacing the current D drive and losing all my valuable important files?
Hello, my payment processing which I’ve used for the past few months seems to not be supported any longer. Is it possible to hold cancelation of my shadow for longer than 4 days in order to find a payment method that you will accept? Please any information on holding this would be greatly appreciated.
After the data center move, I am no longer able to log in to the app since it it is now asking for an authorization code that DOES NOT WORK. Tried manually typing the code and copy/paste. Trying to send a new code also DOES NOT WORK, it immediately says too many codes have been sent at THE FIRST ATTEMPT. Seriously about to unsubscribe.
I’m getting ~5fps in all of my games. I can hardly even navigate to websites in Google Chrome the lag is so bad. It was fine last night so no idea what is happening today with the servers. I’m using ethernet and I have google fiber internet. I’ve tried all troubleshooting steps: restarting my router, restarted Shadow, restarted my PC, etc. Issues persist. Sounds like this is happening to several others, per the Shadow Discord server.
So Shadow won't boot up anymore, no matter what I try. Rebooting router multiple times didn't help.It worked perfectly fine yesterday and I haven't changed any settings. I just get the V-100 error code each and every time.I use the Shadow Ghost with a wired connection on a perfectly functioning router.
UpdateSwitching to Shadow Beta resolved the issue for me.IssueMy USB controller is being detected but clicking the checkbox does nothing. Occasionally it briefly flickers a loading indicator, but remains unchecked. This was working just a few days ago and I have not had any changes to my operating system or other hardware / software.Resolution AttemptsI have tried 1) uninstalling and reinstalling the USB drivers and 2) deleting and re-downloading the Shadow build and unfortunately the problem persists. I’m wondering if anyone has encountered this issue and what steps might I try to get the controller working again. The problem is this: Shadow simply doesn’t respond to any input from any usb device and it’s definitely not a hardware problem. It all started when i installed Huion drivers for a drawing tablet, right after the reset Shadow stopped responding. Ya can try it out by installing them (they were Huion Kamvas 22 drivers, the newest version)It’s the regular version of Shadow, on windows 10. Searching a bit about that online, i discovered that other people had this problemGiven that i identified the issue, how do i remove dem drivers without being able to use my mouse, keyboard or anything? I don’t want to reset it all since i’d lose my data
