I have a 2560x1440 monitor and until the last update, shadow worked great with my monitor and it had the same resolution as my desktop, but after the update it was stuck at 1920x1080 and 60hz ( my monitor supports 144hz ). I tried everything, nvidia control panel didn’t work because i couldn’t create a custom resolution ( The customize button was greyed out but i already have DSR disabled so the common fix doesn’t work ). Does anyone else have this problem?
selecting either the top banner or the new offer link go nowhere. The address displays as account.shadow.tech/new-price-agreement but in both cases then changes to account.shadow.tech/home. I've been waiting since December 2020 and to get this close is frustrating, hopefully this will be addressed.
I recently upgrade to Shadow Infinite earlier today and was really enjoying it once it was ready. However right now I cannot access Shadow for some weird reason and I am stuck on “Connecting to Shadow” and the main dashboard says “Shadow is off, Start Again”. I’ve tried running as admin but it is still stuck. I don’t know if servers are down or something is up but I just want to know what’s the problem and if anyone else is experiencing the same problem.
Hi, I have an issue and would like to share it here to find a solution.. I started using shadow on my new notebook (Shadow Ultra) and for some reason i just Can’t make my Microphone work… I tried multiple solutions on YT and some that I found here and nothing is working out for me… I am trying to use my laptop’s (HP Pavilion laptop 14-ce3xxx with Windows 10 Home) own built in microphone (Microphone Array Realtek(R) Audio) which always have worked perfectly on my laptop, I have uploaded some screenshots showing it working on my laptop, showing my shadow settings, and showing it on my shadow pc not working… Screenshots I have tried updating both my local laptop and shadow’s mic drivers, tried pluging another external headset mic, and nothing seems to work, audio is working great, its just the mic problem, I hope someone has a solution for this issue :p
so not only do you guys downgrade my shadow subscription then make ultra and infinite unavailable in the US but yall are also increasing the price to $30 how is that in the least bit fair? when will the other two upgrades be available in the US? if not soon I’ll probably just cancel my subscription
Hi,I am running shadow on my windows pc with a Thrustmaster T16000m and a TWCS throttle connected.Both devices work fine on my machine. When I try to connect them to shadow the TWCS works fine. But when I click on the T16000m to connect it to the shadow it connects it, but then disconnects it right away. Then it loops back around. You can always here the Windows sounds when it is connected/disconnected and see it popping up in the system settings on the shadow, just to be removed right away.I installed the Thurstmaster driver again without success. Restarted shadow, etc.Any suggestions what could solve the problem? Thank you! I am using a MacBook early 2016 Official Shadow Client 1.3 GHz Intel Core m7 dual-core CPU Datacenter is in Paris Connection speed is more than 300 Mbps Since I updated to Big Sur the following pop-up appears each time I start the system If I click on relaunch the pop-up just comes back after a few seconds, If I click on disable it goes away. I tried looking in the Privacy settings as described in the pop-up but I can’t find anything related to the issue Can you guys help me?
Hi,My problem sounds a bit different to some other posts related to USB forwarding I have seen on the forum. It is as follows:Whilst using the Win-64 application, on the USB forwarding page, my devices keep being forwarded during approx. 20 sec. (the box is ticked) then get unforwarded (the box gets unticked), and after 2 sec. they get forwarded again. This loops again and again in the same fashion. My USB ‘forwarded’ devices don’t respond at all times on Shadow, but work perfectly on my local PCI have reached out to the Shadow support who provided me a basic answer to uninstall the app and delete all Shadow-related folders then re-install the app. It did not change my situation, and I got no further response since then…I also installed the BETA and ALPHA version of the apps, but no luck either. Yesterday, everything was fine and my usb devices were forwarding alright. Today rolls around and they don’t work. Tried uninstalling and reinstalling the drives blah blah blah and nothing has seemed to work? Does anyone know if this is an issue on shadows end or is it something I can resolve?
I’ve been attempting to use Shadow for over 2 hours now, but every time I click “Start Now” or “Start Again” it will take me to the “Starting Shadow” screen, but will then send me back to the home screen and simply say “Shadow is off” before it even finishes startup. I have turned off Shadow, closed it with Task Manager, restarted my computer, even uninstalled and reinstalled Shadow, and still it will not start. It tries, and seemingly fails, and I cannot do anything to fix it at all. There is no error message, no code, no crash report, nothing. I just see the “Starting Shadow” screen for between 30 seconds to 2 minutes, but then it never gets to my Shadow Desktop, and instead sends me back to the home screen saying “Shadow is off.”What is going on??? Is this happening for anyone else?? Am I the only one experiencing this issue? Is there something wrong at one of the data centers? Am I being denied access for some reason? Is the app just glitching?? I am very frustrated, very concerned
Hello,I have had Shadow now for a year and I’m just now running into this problem where my mouse cursor will just jump to a random spot on my screen every few seconds. If I just move my mouse an inch in any direction, it will end up on the other side of the screen, always at a random spot. Sometimes it will jump over about an inch or two on my screen.I am aware of cursor locking - this is not the problem. I thought it was packet loss or lag but there is no issue there. My latency is at 12ms. ‘Input Monitoring’ is enabled in System Preferences.Again, I’ve been using Shadow for a year almost every day with no issue and now this is happening. Is this a Windows OS thing?I am on an iMac running Catalina 10.15.7Any help would be great.. Thank you.
Hi therei have big problems with my shadow on Apple TV and I hope someone can help me :(i tried everything to get it work but I have no luck. When I play a game the stream freeze complete and only audio I can hear I can hear also when I use my controller and click the fire button. the freeze is coming with no fixed time I can’t say after 10 minutes or something. I have seen plenty of posts here regarding this issue, however I can’t seem to find a decent solution for this.I am using Shadow on my Windows PC.I have been playing MSFS2020 with my Logitech Yoke system for about two weeks, but since last week, I can’t forward my yoke anymore. The box is there, but it won’t let me click it. I have reinstalled the drivers twice, I have reset my settings, I’ve re-installed shadow on my PC completely, I have done everything I could, but they still wont work. I really don’t know what else i can do to solve this issue, any help would be appreciated.
For about the last month the app on shield TV. I have tried everything tech support has suggested including a total reformat, but on the shield TV everything looks horrible. The image gets pixelated and takes a few seconds to catch up. This is only seems to be happening on the shield TV for the most part, but it happens on any shield TV since I have two.Any ideas how to fix the issue?Honestly, I am about to give up on the whole thing due to lack of customer support.
Every time I use shadow on my laptop all sound from Shadow cuts out after about a minute and is replaced by silence. This happens whether I’m on stable or beta, have high quality audio enabled or disabled. I love using shadow but if I don’t get sound there is no point in using it. Does anyone know how to fix this?
Hi everyone! I’ve been using Shadow in the UK for a while through the Paris server, since last Friday I started experiences high latency and packet loss (connection drops) with Shadow. What is very weird is that I have a 80mb download 5gz internet, and every internet speed I do across different sites reflects that. However, when testing my speed using the Shadow speed test, it shows a download speed of 20MB. This started this weekend, since I made the same test last week and it was showing 80MB. The way it is the shadow is unusable. The video is stuttering and freezing every 1 or 2 seconds. Hey Guys, I’m a little bummed because I think I might have made a mistake. I purchased the mini pc in the Amazon link below. I had looked at a few, and this one was priced where I thought it would have enough power to run shadow. I mean, my Windows Surface Pro runs it FINE and that was $500, so why shouldn’t a $325 mini PC that doesn’t come with a screen or anything NOT work. That was my mind set.
