How do you use Shadow?

Hi, I have my Shadow account activated and would like to make best use of it. However, I don’t have the chance to have a Shadow Ghost and it seems like it is not available. Not able to find any 2nd hand neither… Then, without that, how do you connect to your Shadow account? 

I can for sure use my iPhone or iPad, but not really convenient as we cannot connect mouse or keyboard… Also, connexion to any screen is complicated… 

Thank you in advance for your tips and, if possible, info on when a new box (ghost or other) will be avialable.

If your goal is to use your TV as your gaming screen, there are several options...including Apple TV, Nvidia Shield TV, or a mini PC.

From your account page, you can an App tab. You can download the Shadow launcher for Mac/Windows as well as the IOS/Android app and Apple TV/Nvidia Shield app.

Current Samsung Phones, I have s10e and just got A51, can either:

  • Screencast to Smart TV’s 
  • Chromecast (for older TV’s like mine)

I’m using an ONN 2-in-1 from Walmart for $150 for all things Shadow, including this Post.
I have GeForce Now and haven’t used it since I found Shadow.

you can use any computer or mobile device.  your challenge may be in getting video to TV and input devices

I am a week out from getting my instance setup for me and I plan on trying our using Dex.  I have a note10 and think being able to use a full on gaming level machine on my phone connected to just a monitor and keyboard\mouse is intriguing.  I should be able to use this for work (minus VPN unfortunately) but I have remote desktop capability so this should be a fun experiment

Samsung Dex is a way too if you have a Samsung phone.
