I’m very happy with my Shadow and have fully switched over to it as my daily driver, but I’d like to update to Windows 11. I understand we can’t/shouldn’t do that right now, but Windows 11 has been out for some time now and I wanted to know if the Shadow devs at least have an idea about when we’ll be able to update to it.

Unfortunately it doesn’t answer my question.
The FAQ simply says the same thing it has since October 5th 2021, which has no mention of an ETA on when Windows 11 might be available for our Shadow PC’s.
It’s been over a year, so I simply wanted to see if the devs had anything they could share with us on when we might expect Windows 11 on Shadow. Even if it’s not an exact date, just an idea of when would be nice. 2024? Sooner? Later? Any info would be welcome.

Nic is right tho, all the responses we've gotten so far have been entirely non-comittal, the "when it's ready" is more of a "If we decide to do it" so far.
Unfortunately, Microsoft isn't very concerned about supporting Windows 10 or the smooth conversion to Windows 11. Considering the performance impact and the potential incompatibility with VMs (the foundation of Shadow) it's not only hard to pinpoint an ETA, but also could put Shadow in the red financially if they rush anything. So please be patient with Shadow and understand that moving to Windows 11 isn't nor should it be a high priority.
