In the mean time they’re are other options. Thin-Clients for as little as $200. Thin-clients are PCs with just the minimum requirements to operate an OS. I know, why spend $200 vs $99, well if your situation requires you to route to your Shadow immediately. I’ll recommend the latter.

Oh I know. I’ve run Shadow on my phone, iPad and Shield.. It’s just clear that the Shost is the “intended” way to access Shadow so that’s why I want one.

Alternately if they’d release the Ghost software  with hardware reference specs I’d “roll my own.”

i think when they have the android TV app Ghost may be kinda obsolete as the new upcoming GOOGLE ATV dongle will potentially run shadow at 4k etc. ive seen it work fine on a Mi Box S …

I am a new Shadow subscriber.  Coming up on 1 month.  Like it, but definitely looking to use it on my LG OLED tv.  I am not a techy so am very interested in the Ghost to be a simple out of the box solution.  I understand a product running out of current inventory.  What I dont understand is why there is no information on when it will be available.  I am not looking for an exact date but I do know a company having an item built will have agreements in place with their suppliers.  Why is this not being shared with the Shadow community?

I am handcuffed right now as to what to do.  I want the Ghost but also fear I will be sitting here a month from now still waiting for news.  Or I say screw it and get an alternative only to have Ghost be available shortly thereafter…

It is like my wife says... You gotta communicate!!!

@Chriszl48 I, too, can only game with the LG OLED these days. I currently have a Windows PC HDMI’d into the TV gear.

I’d much prefer to use my Shield TV for Shadow, but the lack of surround-sound support in the Android client (which is presumably lacking in the Ghost as well), is holding me back.

If a new Ghost was offered and had surround-sound support, I would buy one in a heartbeat.

Same question here. When will it arrive in the Netherlands?Shadow just doesn't normally answer this question. Is getting very tired of responding to people on various forums who say they have one for sale and then do not hear from them again. And paying 175-200 Euro via Ebay is really going too far for me.So Shadow, when ....

Surround-sound is now working on the Nvidia Shield using the Shadow Android client, at least when using the “Steam streaming speakers” method. You might consider that instead of a Ghost.

I also thought that only your keyboard and mouse will not be recognized.

You mean keyboard and mouse not recognized when using Shield? As they do work.

No, my question is can i connect a wired keyboard and mouse and work that ok ?

And how is it with the noise, Shadow Ghost is fanless ..

Yes, you can use wired keyboard/mouse assuming you get the model with USB ports.

I don’t believe the Shields are fanless, but if they make any noise, I’m not hearing it ;)
