Does the Shadow vr Alpha app work on Oculus Quest 2?If not, are there any plans to make this possible anytime soon?

Updates on Shadow VR, and how to followNew

What's the best way to follow updates on Shadow VR alpha? I only found out about it a few days ago on the discord. And it was hell trying to find this section. Me and my wife are hoping to stop using Virtual Desktop and use Shadow VR. After trying it once and seeing no mic was available (we use VRChat mostly) we had to go back to Virtual Desktop setup, and it had alot of difficulties reverting back to pc settings and overwriting the VR update. It's difficult to test it on our own and keep reverting updates to see if anything has changed, so how do we get information on updates, plans, ect?

Not Displaying in Stereoscopic ModelNew

Issue/Describe the bugLogging in to Shadow VR App on Oculus 2 (with Steam VR launched on Shadow through laptop already) and the “home” environment loads but without the eyes displaying correctly (the images are not blended). I use Virtual Desktop and have never experienced this issue. Version:Alpha v. 5.0.3 Steps to Reproduce:Using an Oculus 2 with Shadow Boost on Mac Laptop (2015 i5), Steam VR Launched in Shadow then open shadow VR app, display hurt eyes so bad i had to quit the app. Additional Notes

shadow VR timeout

Will the hypervisor still shut shadow down after 30 minutes if I am using the shadow VR app? I feel like this is one of the, if not the most important part of the shadow VR experience

App hangs on "Starting ShadowVR"

I’ve followed the HowTo and have the app installed via sidequest on my Oculus Quest OG.Oculus Quest version 20.0 Steam and SteamVr installed and updated Steam set to start on windows start Windows logs in without password or pinApp logs in to Shadow fine, boots shadow and installs the client fine but then stops on “Starting ShadowVR” and after 10 minutes there’s no change.Any suggestion what to try next?

On derail valleyIt properly detects the hmdBut in terms of the controllers It thinks they are vive wandsI talked to the developers about this and it seems the issue is with shadow vrHopefully this goes on the list of game specific bugs

i open the shadow app from the unknown sorces and press start shadow and nothing ever starts

Everything is set up properly but no head tracking or stereoscopic

I can see the steam VR window open, it says no headset detected. There is no head movement, or stereoscopic.I read that maybe it’s because oculus connected before steam VR opened, but quitting the app on Oculus and going back does not change anything, same thing :-( I am starting Steam VR, not steam. Is that correct?Anything to try?

IssueOnce the Shadow is started, it shows a frozen screen, then the app crash after a long time not responding.Version:Alpha v. 0.0.1 Steps to Reproduce:Using Shadow Ultra (Gravelines), Occulus Quest 1 and 5Ghz wifi (400mbps down, 20mbps up)Launch Shadow first on Official Windows App, closing every other tasks like nvidia geforce or discord, leaving the desktop to Steam Big Picture and SteamVR on 1440p60Hz.Closing the app, not turning the Shadow Off (if turned off, the ShadowVR launcher will not even try to lauch).Waiting around 2-5minuts for the ShadowVR to start while watching the loading from 0% to 100%. Additional NotesMultiples S-101 while getting back to Official Windows App, making the launching of ShadowVR getting between 10 minutes to half hour.___

How to use the Shadow VR Alpha 💌Tutorial

 Here is a quick step-by-step guide on how to use the Shadow VR Alpha on the Oculus Quest. Please keep in mind that we are currently not supporting any other VR headsets. Before jumping into the guide, make sure that your setup meets the ☝minimum requirements for the Alpha:  Own an Oculus Quest (or an Oculues Quest 2) Have an active Shadow Account (Shadow Boost, Shadow Ultra or Shadow Infinite) Have a stable (fiber) internet connection  Over 50Mbps & Under 30ms ping to your Shadow Have 5Ghz WIFI  Have a Steam Account Guided Step-by-Step TutorialInstall Shadow VR from Sidequest on your Oculus quest (top right button). How to Report a 🐞BugNew

Before you report a bug, make sure it has not been posted yet. If it has been reported already, please upvote the present post instead. Please use this format to report any error or bug you encounter when testing the Shadow VR Alpha: (The italic text is just an example) Issue/Describe the bugCursor on Windows is too small while running very high resolutions Version:Alpha v. 5.0.3 Steps to Reproduce:Using a Monitor Higher Than 1080p (2.4k was tested)Launch Shadow in high resolutions on the local computer (scaling does not matter)Set Shadow resolution to same resolution as local computer (scaling can change to test out and reproduce, for my repro, I matched the resolutions)In windowed mode can easily see which mouse is causing issues by moving out of the Shadow window (Also happens on fullscreen.)I also tried upscaling Shadow screen resolution in Settings to 200% and mouse size did not change. Additional Notes
