Hi,
I’m goint to buy the new M1 MacbookPro and I was wondering whether shadow is going to run on it? I guess there’s no native app for that, but is it running under Rosetta2? It’s kinda crucial knowing that I’ve already found a few apps not working with M1 nor Rosetta.

Thanks,
Daniel

You dont have to worry. I just bought the new MacBook Pro and with Rosetta 2 you wount see any difference with using Shadow.

Hoping there will be a native Apple Silicon app as well.

Just activated today about 30 minutes after my new Mac mini arrived.

It’s working well in Rosetta for me, but would also prefer a native app obviously!

I found one difference, I can’t use USB peripherals on my new MacBook Air. Did anyone notice that?

Yeah, from reading around here I think that’s a general issue with Big Sur rather than the M1 specifically.

Luckily I don’t use a gamepad, but can imagine it being very annoying if you do.

Still no word on an M1 version of the beta client. I hope it’s coming, I really do.

PS4 Dualshock controller isn’t working for me on my M1 MacBook Air.  Mac OS recognizes the controller, Shadow recognizes the controller, and Steam recognizes the controller, but the inputs are failing to register in any game.

I can tell that my PS4 controller works perfectly on my M1 MacBook in all games I’ve played

Still no update on an M1 native client?

The topic of the week is ARM processors, this would be a question for the week’s broadcast topic.

I have the same issue - any idea how to fix it?
