Whenever I launch a game (battlefront II), I get the "Applying new resolution" message every 5 to 10 seconds. is there something I need to adjust so it stops happening? I'm very new to Shadow and so far i haven't been able to use it due to this issue.

If you can force the game to launch in window mode it should help you configure the in-game graphics without it breaking streaming. Some googleing will be needed to find how to go about doing so.
