Can't connect to Shadow for 2 weeks, launcher stuck

It has been more than 2 weeks since I could connect to Shadow. The launcher is stuck on update.

  • Application type: Windows 10 PCs, IOS on Apple Ipad 11 Pro.

  • Shadow Client Version: Official

  • Local device CPU: 11th Gen Intel(R) Core(TM) i5-1135G7 @ 2.40GHz   2.42 GHz

  • Local device GPU:  NVIDIA Geforce MX330

  • Datacenter location Portland

  • Connection speed: 300-600 mbs/sec

  • Description of issue: launcher stuck on updating


  • Date when problem appeared.  about two weeks ago

  • Did you take any action(s) which could have created this problem? Repeatedly contacted Shadow but received no solution.

  • Do you recall any action(s) you took after it happened?  Nothing, the app just stopped working.

  • Do you use a VPN and/or antivirus?  Yes.  I turned of my antivirus but it made no difference. (Malwarebytes)

Please help, the launcher is stuck on the update screen.  Thanks.

Sorry to hear that you’re facing issues with connecting to your Shadow. I highly recommend that you continue working with our Support Team to resolve this issue. They have informed me that they’ve replied to your ticket earlier today. 

They could not fix it.  I had to cancel my account and get a refund.  Will all of my data be erased? I need to make sure that the data is kept confidential and wiped securely from your system. Thanks.
