Cannot move mouse up or down in game

whenever i play anything i can move my mouse in any direction but when i comes to playing call of duty modern warfare and i get into a multiplayer match i cannot move my mouse up or down. although when i’m in the menu screen it allows me to move it in any direction even though i have input monitoring on and my mouse is always locked when i play games.

Is this a problem with call of duty itself or is it a problem with shadow?

  • Do you recall any action(s) you took after it happened? no

  • Do you use a VPN and/or antivirus? no

  • Please provide a screenshot of your shadow stats (Alt+Win+O). Also make sure it captures a timeframe when the issue has happened.

Are you on Catalina, if so:
Go to system preferences, click security&privacy, and check "AEServer" while adding the Shadow app to both Accessibility and Input Monitoring. ? @Hawk570 

Also you have to do something about that ping spikes, thats big yikes.

i have got both AEServer and shadow checked in accessibility and input monitoring but still won’t do it.

Yeah only just seen the spikes now definitely getting onto sorting that out.

Can you open a command line interface and type treacert (Windows) or traceroute (Linux/Mac) then take a screen shot of the results and post them here.

You want to insert your Shadow PC and visa versa, IP address. You can find your IP address by typing in a web browser, “What’s my IP address?” You’ll want to use IPv4 on both machines. Some ISP’s have transitioned to IPv6, Shadow on the other hand are in the works to implement it.

Try disabling your trackpad, shutting off your Shadow, shutting off your mac, turning on your mac, turning on Shadow. If that doesn't work. After that try the beta launcher.
