Controller Stopped Working

Hello All!

After the most recent update (on 4/27/2022) i found myself completely unable to use my controller.

It is a wired xbox controller and it has never once given me a problem untill now.  I tried the shut down and restart method, and uninstalled Shadow multiple times. Whenever i plug in my controller, it gives an error code and prompts me to do the same steps again. This occured immediately AFTER the update, so im think that had something to do with it. 

If anyone has any other ideas, i would be VERY grateful. My good friend just bought me Elden Ring and i was enjoying getting absolutely torn to shreds. I would like to continue doing so. :)

Does your controller work normally on your local device?

For now, you can try updating the drivers for your Xbox controller to see if that helps? -
