I am pretty much satisfied after using shadow and really enjoying it. However, when i use external mouse on android for Shadow, it works flawlessly, but on Ipad the mouse button inside shadow app and the outside of app is always different and can't really use mouse. Is there any solution to this? TIA

Yes, but when I open shadow then Ipad mouse pointer and the pointer inside the shadow app becomes different, So basically that time there are two separate pointers. So can not click flawlessly. :-(

I would suggest to perform a speedtest.net on your iPad and check if the connection is stable and has enough bandwidth available. Please share your results in this topic.

Hello, thanks for reaching out. I have a 150mbps connection and enough bandwidth, and mouse works fine in laptop/android. This is only for ipad. Please refer to attach screenshot and hope it clarifies the issue.

Is it possible that the resolution of Shadow VM is not on native resolution of the iPad?

Nah @Falcon . It is native resolution only. If there is any way to solve this, I could use my ipad as PC with the help of shadow .

Hope you can help me out 🙏

@CapPrice You not have the possibility to change the Shadow VM resolution settings? (Display settings)

Tried that..from both shadow app settings and display settings inside windows, but same issue persists. :-(

@CapPrice The “Lock Cursor” option in the Shadow Quick Menu is also not giving a solution?

I could only see that lock cursor option for windows app, but not for ipad app. If that is there in ipad too, i think that may have solve the issue.

Any workaround you could think of @Falcon ? 🙂

@CapPrice Have you figured out a workaround?

Any luck with this? This only happens to

me when I get the escape key on the Magic Keyboard.

Hello,

I have the same problem with the escape key since I’m on iPadOS 16.

Anyone has a solution ?

Hi,

Same problem for me :(

I think I have the same problem. The mouse loses focus on Shadow App after pressing Escape on external Bluetooth keyboard K380 on Ipad.

Same issue here with the iPad Pro Magic Keyboard and the ESC mapped to capslock. Expect of this issue, gaming on the iPad with an external mouse works really great.

I can confirm this is also true for me as well.

Exactly the same issue here. I have an IPad Pro and each time I hit ESC on my keyboard I have two pointer on my shadow.

Same I have an issue. Can’t use mouse on iPad which Shadow app become useless.

I have been following this issue for a while as it affects  me the exact same way. From what I found and deduct, this is probably because of how the iPad handles mouse input. Mouse support originated as an accessibility  feature and emulates a finger tip on the screen.
Before the suggestions of „switch from Touch Mode to Track Pad“ come up: I already did, doesn‘t help ;)
So, unless Apple decides to put REAL mouse support and a driver - like Android has from its Linux heritage - into iPadOS, we are out of luck.
