View originalMost likely peak hours. Can you take a screenshot of your stats and anything else that’ll help. Like Does this happen often? When does it happen? Any changes to your settings? etc.
Mine will do the same thing. Started with in the last week two. The screen will blur and become pixelated. Latency spikes like crazy it will smooth out. Internet connection is good. About 200 and 20 up. You can see how the latency got earlier. 1582 ms
Let’s run a trace route to your Shadow PC and see whats going on. Open a Command Terminal, type tracert (Win) traceroute (Unix) with your Shadow’s IP address. You can find your Shadow’s IP address by typing in a web browser “What’s my IP address?”
When you’ve done that, send us the screenshot.
c:\windows\system>tracert “insert IP address here”

You might be having really bad routing then,

Do this and post results.
I ran a trace to my shadow from my host to my shadow then from my shadow to my host this morning. Everything was fine except for a couple of high ping hops. I did from my host to shadow tonight and after about hop 9 it switches isp and the ping rate goes from an average of 30 to 80 for a couple of hops then everything times out. It switches to alternet the best I can tell.
Hey Khajiit,
When you get that high ping again follow these steps:
1) Traceroute from Shadow to your Local IP - On your local PC navigate to http://lg.shadow.guru/ - Select router your data center - Hit Trace/Go - Take a Screenshot of the results Windows + Shift + S or using your preferred screenshot tool. - post here (include time and timezone)
2) Traceroute from your local IP to Shadow. - On your local PC Press Windows + R - Type cmd then click OK - Type in the following text without quotations "tracert *IP address here*” this is the ip list for your data center choose the right one( IP TX: 216.180.128.134 IP CH: 216.180.136.134 IP NY: 162.213.48.134 IP CA: 170.249.92.40") - Wait up to 2 minutes for the test to complete - Take a Screenshot of the results Windows + Shift + S or using your preferred screenshot tool. - Send to a Shadow Guru or Moderator
If you're in the EU use shadows IP’s from those locations. (But I see your in the USA)

This is new? Great addition! Simple, user friendly, and it reports statistics, to be later analyzed. Pure genius. Can we get it sticky somewhere? Might just have to make a tutorial on how to use this for the less tech savvy.
