I seem to be having issues installing GOG galaxy. I keep getting error message informing me to download the installer again, and try to install again. I have downloaded the installer four times so far. Is anyone else having this issue?

I was told by support that this is a known issue. Not sure if they are working on a fix or not.

I had the same issue with GOG launcher. I contacted the GOG Support, they gave a new installer which was working perfectly.

You can also download the 1.x version somewhere from the internet and then update it to Version 2 on shadow as an alternative

Hello @WhyYesImEvil ,

a French Moderator (Nelfym) added a working installer on a direct download link on the french Shadow Discord. Here you are: https://tu-vas.la/gog .

Don’t be afraid, the link is safe & the .exe come directly from their website.

Thanks @RAZhkoh.

FYI it’s only a shorten URL, I didn’t host any file.

This URL should always lead you to the latest installer hosted by gog.com (self-updated link).

Side-note: you can append /info (eg. https://tu-vas.la/gog/info) at the end of any shortcut managed by tu-vas.la, you’ll see some infos like creation date, owner, location and visit count.

Cheers.
