Took about 15 minutes. You’ll get it, just wait for the bot to PM you.

Since this is a very special badge, the CM & Mod teams have to apply each badge manually to all new users. As you can imagine, this is taking a lot of time with many people joining now. But rest assured, everyone (including you!) will get a Day 1 badge for joining in the first 24 hours.
