Hi guys. I am french and I live in London. I have subscribed to Shadow Boost while I was in UK but I am currently in France for a few month for personal reason. What is datacenter location for UK user? I have a reasonably good ping in South of France (06)w I am at the moment (20/25ms). Can I expect in London when I a back? Or worse or better. I have similar kind of broadband on either location (40mb). Thanks!

99% sure you’re in the Paris datacentre, as most (if not all) UK users on Boost are. I don’t really know an easy way to check, although status.shadow.tech has a nice list of locations. The only datacentre closer to UK is Gravelines, although that stores Infinite and ultra

Thanks! I can probably find out if I do a speedtest from the shadow in fact!
Anyway, I was using paperspace + parsec before I find Shadow much easier and better value. On the perf side I am not sure yet if it's better or worse. But so far so good.
I was an early shadow user and data centre was in Paris. I upgraded to Ultra when offered and accepted the delete my shadow option to upgrade early. Noticed post upgrade the clock on my Shadow was West Coast US time. I’m UK based. Presume I’m one of the few? Intrigued if this materially effects latency - West Coast US is considerably further away than Paris!
Yeah I am in Paris too, I don’t know if any other U.K. residents remember late 2018? (I believe) they where saying you can move to a U.K. data centre if you wanted and for some reason I decided not too don’t know if you can move now. If anyone know HMU
Do an IP lookup within your server, this should tell you where your system is located

So as you purchased from the UK store, you will be in the Paris one :)
