I don’t know if this happened after an update or it mysteriously just happened. Since going to Mac Os 13, my nintendo pro controller doesn’t work on my MBP 14 inch M1. It seems to only partially work, one or two buttons work, but the rest are unresponsive.It works with the shadow PC app on my ipad pro.I tried uninstalling the USB forwarding drivers from shadow and reinstalling, that did not help.Also unpaired and repairs the controller.I want to log a tech call, but the shadow app directs me to an old shadow portal that doesn’t work and I don’t know the URL for exactly where to get help.
Hi, streaming is very smooth at 1080p but it’s unusable when connecting my laptop to a 4k display - I’m assuming this is because it’s not powerful enough at decoding the video and is dropping most frames?If it’s not an issue on my end, are there any system requirements for 4k 60fps available so I can look for something suitable to use instead of my laptop? The ones on the main website don’t even mention the GPU, and I far exceed them. I have:CPU/APU: Ryzen 5 3500u (Zen+)GPU: integrated Radeon Vega 8Beta client, no power upgrade (I will if I can get 4k to work)Network: 10ms to datacenter, >400 MbpsYouTube streams with 0 frames dropped at 4k. Screenshot below is streaming a 4k 60fps YouTube video (not the actual game). It keeps freezing for about 1 second every 2-4 seconds. It looks like frame dropping? The latency graph looks very different to when I stream at 1080p (it’s very smooth, 10-12 ms). I’ve tried messing around with the bandwidth options and they don’t seem to make any dif
Can't see anything regardin controllers; tried reconnecting, connecting more controllers, nothing worked. Does anyone know why?The pop-up shows when connected and they work perfectly but I cannot use the compatibility option since it's not even there.Video and display options are missing too, only advanced options showing
I’m trying to subscribe to the shadow service, but there seems to be something wrong, the shadow.tech website gives and error every time i try do subscribe. Addition to that, when I try to enter my account, the screen is stuck in a loading screen. if I “f12” the website and view the console, there is an error 404. Am I the only one who experience this?(quick note: have tried from multiple accounts, networks and devices, but the problem won’t go away)(quick note 2: I am located in Europe)
Hello Shadow Support, I am trying to purchase Shadow from the the website for the Danish Market (Denmark) however It does not allow me to get past the billing stage once I have entered my details. I keep getting an error message please see attached screenshot. I have cleared cache and cookies, tried multiple devices and browsers and still not luck. Hi there,While I was working on a project for my thesis, using arcGIS pro (legally installed in Shadow) I lost access to the files of the current project. I have checked my documents folder and most of the files I was working on are gone. I haven’t deleted them by mistake, and this didn’t happen after restarting shadow. It just happened while I was working. Any idea of what could have caused it? Is there a way to recover these files? I have lost some files which will be impossible to create again.Thank you in advance.
Are there plans to upgrade the IOS app tot let Shadow act as an full screen app on the external screen of stage manager. (Is now in beta voor iPad OS 16.2)\When i use the beta and i put the shadow app on the external screen the app is only white and i see nothing.
I tested out new feature and used controller as mouse on my PC with Shadow. It works great. I am interested if this feature is available on Android TV too? In the latest version (I think it is 3.12.2) I don’t see it mentioned in release notes. Is it not available yet on Android?
Hello I have a little issue I hope someone knows a solution to:When playing games on Shadow using the app on Chromecast with google tv the audio is not sync. Video is good(1440p,60), no input lag to speak of. Example: when i fire a weapon the bang is always later than the flash. Also makes conversations hard to look at. It's just off.. Not a full second but enough to notice. I never have this problem using any other app on the Chromecast (Stadia, Netflix, YouTube etc.).I can rule out Shadow itself. No problems on my android phone OR on my PC. Audio is perfect.Network is also not very likely te be the problem, networktest shows at least 70MB/S. I have shadow set at 45MB/s. So I think the problem might be some other setting in the app or on the Chromecast itself. Or perhaps hardware limitations?
My shadow is the wrong datacenter, i used to have 60 ms latency in june, when i bought it on the 22nd last month i selected the right state and everything, does anybody know what i could do? Edit: I just now found out it wasn’t in the wrong region and my internets just bad
Application type: MacOS 12.6.1 Shadow Client Version: Official Local device CPU: 8-Core Intel Core i7 Local device GPU: AMD Radeon Pro 5500 XT Datacenter location: US East (DC) Connection speed: guru site does not load, but Ookla is saying 700+ up and down Description of issue: After upgrading to Power, the extra storage I had when I was using a regular Shadow subscription disappeared. There doesn’t seem to be an option to add any storage on the Account page. I know that not all regions allow extra storage, but I haven’t switched datacenters - I just upgraded to Power. Granted, this did create a new VM, but in a region that supported extra storage the day before I upgraded, so I’m a bit confused. Am I not seeing a setting I should? I made my shadow power upgrade account alittle over a week ago. Whenever i try to login to the shadow app on my phone it says my information is not correct. Thats not the case but anyway i went to go to get a recovery email but im not recieving an email at all? A buddy that i got to get into this is having the same logging in problem weve both had this less then a week. Funnily enough i was able to login to the forum tech site to finish my forum account and used the same credentials as when i try to login on the shadow app and it worked on there so idk why i cant login to the full site or my app? Has my account been compromised? I havent had it for long and havent written or stored any of my login information
So I’m returning to Shadow VR after a few months due to needed replacement controllers for my Quest 2, I just got them today, got my Quest all sorted out, I completely redownloaded Sidequest, and then the Shadow VR Early Release app. So I click on the app, and it tells me to go to “ hydra.eu.shadow.tech/device “ to login, now I find this weird because I’m in the US… But I try it anyway, and it errors on me. I tried everything I can think of, I checked all my downloads, I checked my date and time on the Quest, I even tried using the code on the normal connect link I see. Nothing works, I could really use some help on what might be going on here.
