good day i can't find a way to activate my local desktop`s 3 screens(Eyefinity style) on the shadow desktop. it only finds 1, maybe because i am using AMD gpu. i feel that if i use my Dell WD19 Docking Station, it should work. but renders my local machine. i am struggling to get used to one screen and the other 2 on the left and right hand side are black screened. is there a fix for this yet please. thankyou in advance for your time and efforts.
I’ve been attempting to use Shadow for over 2 hours now, but every time I click “Start Now” or “Start Again” it will take me to the “Starting Shadow” screen, but will then send me back to the home screen and simply say “Shadow is off” before it even finishes startup. I have turned off Shadow, closed it with Task Manager, restarted my computer, even uninstalled and reinstalled Shadow, and still it will not start. It tries, and seemingly fails, and I cannot do anything to fix it at all. There is no error message, no code, no crash report, nothing. I just see the “Starting Shadow” screen for between 30 seconds to 2 minutes, but then it never gets to my Shadow Desktop, and instead sends me back to the home screen saying “Shadow is off.”What is going on??? Is this happening for anyone else?? Am I the only one experiencing this issue? Is there something wrong at one of the data centers? Am I being denied access for some reason? Is the app just glitching?? I am very frustrated, very concerned
Hey everyone I can't believe I'm the only one having this problem, so I thought I'd ask here. I'm havint this relatively well documented problem of installing a game from the Windows Store, uninstalling it, but the space not being reclaimed from the C: drive. The space is taken up in the C:/Program Files/WindowsApps folder, and on my machine at the moment that's running at about 200GB. There is a workaround which involves taking ownership of the folder so you can give yourself delete permissions and manually delete the files, but this doesn't work on the Shadow PC, because they seem to restrict your ability to make these changes. I reached out to Shadow support, and they suggested resetting my Shadow PC, but that isn't really going to work. This is a consistent issue with the Windows Store, so if we reset then we're just going to have the problem as soon as I install and uninstall a game again. Hello, Been using shadow for months on my mac without any issues and love it. Tried several times without luck to run it on my amazon fire stick so, after reading several good reports, took the plunge and ordered the latest shield TV Pro. Great piece of kit! On the stream there is noticeable input lag and its making games unplayable. The TV is on game mode. In the shadow menus (pressing start and select together) there is no lag (so the connection with the shield TV is a-OK). I'm on 500mb up/down fibre. I've tried playing with all the settings, dropping the resolution and bitrate right down but it seems to make no difference. Any ideas? Cheers! Max
Hello,I have had Shadow now for a year and I’m just now running into this problem where my mouse cursor will just jump to a random spot on my screen every few seconds. If I just move my mouse an inch in any direction, it will end up on the other side of the screen, always at a random spot. Sometimes it will jump over about an inch or two on my screen.I am aware of cursor locking - this is not the problem. I thought it was packet loss or lag but there is no issue there. My latency is at 12ms. ‘Input Monitoring’ is enabled in System Preferences.Again, I’ve been using Shadow for a year almost every day with no issue and now this is happening. Is this a Windows OS thing?I am on an iMac running Catalina 10.15.7Any help would be great.. Thank you.
Wondering if Shadow might indulge me with a little information on how it handles transport security. Based on previous threads, which are relatively limited, it seems Shadow uses UDP to stream from the Shadow instance back to the client unless you choose TCP. My experience with the TCP options was not as good as a typical VDI or RDP session, the basic desktop would artifact, lag, and ghost. The typical discussion point to choosing UDP centers around reducing latency and higher gaming performance. Unless wrapped in a TLS or IPSEC tunnel, UDP isn’t typically encrypted. Now it’s valid to consider that what is streaming down from the Shadow instance to the client, it’s normally screen data and sound. Risk here is relatively small for gaming assuming proper password masking for applications on the instance. But how does the client handle data being sent to the instance? When I play a game the stream freeze complete and only audio I can hear I can hear also when I use my controller and click the fire button. the freeze is coming with no fixed time I can’t say after 10 minutes or something. Every time I use shadow on my laptop all sound from Shadow cuts out after about a minute and is replaced by silence. This happens whether I’m on stable or beta, have high quality audio enabled or disabled. I love using shadow but if I don’t get sound there is no point in using it. Does anyone know how to fix this?
Hello, I’m new to shadow an was recently activated last week ish. Trying to use shadow on my iPad Pro also on my iPhone that when I load the app, log into my account, the app won’t load my account but gives me a R:108/109 error saying it’s my internet. I sent a email to support telling them in detail what is happening. I got a response fast that explained it’s a new issue they had where if your using AT&T it won’t load your account. They are trying to fix it for the sense the email Monday but sadly no response but after researching on many forums I can’t if anyone else having this problem. If I use wifi or Verizon hotspot it works but not AT&T that is my service provider for both my apple products. I purchased my subscription to use shadow on my iPad to enjoy my computer games while at work sense I work 16 hours a day I don’t get much time at home to use my own computer an sadly my works wifi is highly restricted an trying use someone’s Verizon hotspot is a wasteful sense it ta
For about the last month the app on shield TV. I have tried everything tech support has suggested including a total reformat, but on the shield TV everything looks horrible. The image gets pixelated and takes a few seconds to catch up. This is only seems to be happening on the shield TV for the most part, but it happens on any shield TV since I have two.Any ideas how to fix the issue?Honestly, I am about to give up on the whole thing due to lack of customer support.

I have seen plenty of posts here regarding this issue, however I can’t seem to find a decent solution for this.I am using Shadow on my Windows PC.I have been playing MSFS2020 with my Logitech Yoke system for about two weeks, but since last week, I can’t forward my yoke anymore. The box is there, but it won’t let me click it. I have reinstalled the drivers twice, I have reset my settings, I’ve re-installed shadow on my PC completely, I have done everything I could, but they still wont work. I really don’t know what else i can do to solve this issue, any help would be appreciated.
Hi all,I and many others have this issue where the USB peripherals connect and disconnect infinitely. It show that’s connected for 20sec and then it disconnects for 2sec and reconnects. This goes on and on and on. I have a macbook air 2013 with OS Catalina. I’ve been using Shadow for some time, and I’ve noticed that the fonts just don’t look right. I’ve got two examples here. https://imgur.com/SHCyGJb Notice how the “download” looks and here https://imgur.com/dpT5o3S Everything looks washed out, and the contrast seems off, and it’s hard to read. I’m at 50 for the bandwidth, little lag. No night settings on. True tone is not on. Anyone have any solutions, or is this just how it’s supposed to look?
Your USB over IP was working fine before but suddenly stopped and when you try to select a device it doesnt want to select? Well try this below, it has helped other people and may help you! In the Launcher, go to the Settings (little cog icon) and go to USB Peripherals and uncheck it and let it uninstall the drivers Restart your computer that is running Shadow. Go back to the Launcher, Settings and go to the USB Peripherals and check it again and let it install the drivers again, then go back to Shadow and try to select your device again. Hi everyone! Quick question, have any of you experienced any performance issues on a Linux/Windows Dual-boot unit? It works flawlessly when I run Shadow on Windows, but on Linux...yikes, a completely different story with key presses and mouse movements registering after about 10 seconds and the visuals / sounds being ultra slow, as you can imagine. Don’t think internet speed/performance is an issue, as I mentioned it runs great on Win10, but it might be, I don’t know! Here’s some info on my machine HP Elitebook 8470p Laptop / 8GB RAM / Intel Core i5-3320M / Ubuntu 20.04 LTS (dual-boot to Win10 Pro). Wanted to see if anyone has run into this or had any tips to fix. When I start shadow it opens a new instance with the desktop on the remote screen but the iPhone screen keeps the app on its main screen. If I’m using a mouse, I can’t access the remote screen and it only stays on the iPhone. I get a lousy resolution too (1280x1280) and since I can’t access the desktop I can’t change it. Is there a workaround to solve this? Any other way to connect the iPhone to a screen and use a mouse? Thanks
