Shadow PC working with Razer Kishi
Hey guys I got the Razer kishi hoping to use it with shadow on my phone, seems like the perfect add on to shadow. The only issue is as soon as I touch any of the analogue sticks or triggers it crashes the shadow app. Iv tried the beta aswell and does the same. I have a Samsung S20 ultra and I hear it's a Samsung issue but all the current reviewers for it have obviously been paid to review as they aren't testing it with Samsung phones. If anyone on the shadow tech team had any ideas why it's crashing the app and confirm its not on their end where the issue is that would be great.
Cannot move mouse up or down in game
whenever i play anything i can move my mouse in any direction but when i comes to playing call of duty modern warfare and i get into a multiplayer match i cannot move my mouse up or down. although when i’m in the menu screen it allows me to move it in any direction even though i have input monitoring on and my mouse is always locked when i play games. Is this a problem with call of duty itself or is it a problem with shadow?
New user problems with mouse and tabbing out of Shadow back to other computer applications
I just got setup on Shadow. I am on the California Datacenter using the official launcher version. The issues I have are with the mouse spinning the character view around wildly. This stops when you lock the cursor or go full screen. The issues with either of those solutions is that I am unable to quickly alt tab or move to other applications running on the computer that I run Shadow from. This is essentially a show stopper for me. Having to stop and unlock the mouse or shrink the screen or close the screen is not a viable answer.I have tried loading the usb drivers for the mouse. I have tried this on two computers. I use a razer death adder and a Logitech track ball. Both to the same thing. changing the sensitivity in the setting does nothing. The latency to Denver from Cali is still up for debate if I can play reliably or not. If I can’t fix the above problems this solution will not work for me. Any help would be appreciated.
Virtual desktop unreachable, please help
Hi, Im owner of Shadow since october and really happy with the service.My main concern is that I cant connect Virtual Desktop in my Oculus Quest with Shadow.Virtual Desktop works fine with my own computer, Shadow also works fine when I use it in my computer or mobile. But when I try to connect Virtual Desktop to Shadow it leads allways to the same message: “Computer is unreachable”.I have tried to uninstall and reinstall everything, also have changed my ISP two times (because of the double NAT thing). Actually I use mobile data, but I have asked other peaople that use the same ISP and service, and for them it works.Please, any help? I’ve been triying to make it work for a long time.Thank you.
A-599 error since last update
I am currently unable to login to my Shadow. All worked fine yesterday but now I get a A-599 error: No internet connection detected.I can tell you my internet is more than fine.Any solutions for this? It already caused me to miss my streamI also tried Beta launcher and no luck
Quick Menu Missing

The icon is not there and nothing shows when I use the win+alt+O shortcut. win+alt+F works for fullscreen so the shortcuts are working and occasionally on going in or out of fullscreen I can see the quick menu for a split second. It also doesn’t auto detect resolutions when I move it from my external monitor to my laptop screen (which it used to).I have made sure the Low -End option is unchecked and the same for safe mode. Any ideas will be grateful as it is a very important feature for me to see what the stats say and tailor my connection (as I am on a pretty rubbish internet connection unfortunately!).I have the same version of the app (Launcher v4.15.9 C
Mac Big Sur update - mouse issue
Good day fellow shadowers) After totally reinstalling my Mac, and updating on Big Sur, I've got an issue with my mouse. After cmd+tab in any other application on Mac, and going back to shadow stream my mouse shuttering, stream is fine, latency fine, no packet loss, only mouse. Restart streaming from quick menu helps to fix that. I’m using shadow for about already 7 month, and everything was silky smooth.Is it smth in Big Sur update? or maybe I need to disable smth in Mac settings, since it brand new and clear setup… thx in advance)
Ping consistently spiking every 10 seconds
Hello fellow shadow users! I need help with something and have litterally searched up and tried over 20 fixes, keep in mind this isn’t just shadow it is everything on my computer but it affects shadow so I thought I would come here to try and get some help. Something you should know is this doesn’t happen on any other device on my local network and I even tried using shadow on my windows 10 laptop it worked great with none of these ping spikes. Basically I launched shadow today and launched rust but every ten seconds ping spikes and packet loss increases and last 1-2 seconds and then goes away. It might sound not that bad but it’s game breaking and again happens every 10 seconds, I have tried so many guides but none have helped at all. Just in case you need wifi/pc information here you go.PC specs Cpu: Intel core i5 8400Gpu: Gtx 1060 3gbRam: 8gb 2400mhzWifi info Download speed 25 mbps Upload 5 mbps 5Ghz and 2.4Ghz channels and I’m using 5Ghz cause I don’t have an ethernet cable.Thank Y
Virtual Desktop low latency when on desktop, but 500-2000 once game is launched (VR Quest 2)
So my Shadow was activated. I updated drivers, downloaded steam, oculus, and virtual desktop. I get connected (5 Ghz Wifi6 Comcast 1 Gig Down 40 Mbps Up) and while in 2D I have no issues with my 50 to 70 ms. As soon as I launch a title it’s unplayable. I’ve watched a ton of content and read a lot on it. Tinkered with all my of settings (to the best of my knowledge). At one point it looked like I had it nailed (Vader Immortal was running great). As soon as I tried anything else it was back to horrible. I’ve since been unable to replicate those ideal condtions.
Steam disk space attribution very slow
Hi, When I want to install games from steam, the initial phase of disk space allocation is like very very very long. I launched the download of a 60Gb game like 20 min ago, and only 1/3 of disk space allocation is done. It’s like this since the first time I used Shadow. Not something new on my side. Stuttering, frame loss on MiniPC with Celeron J4125
Hi,I recently bought a AcePC mini PC (link to amazon page) featuring an Intel Celeron J4125 processor and 8GB RAM.I struggle to run shadow on it smoothly (stuttering, frame loss). I noticed that the resource monitor (see screenshot below) on the host PC indicates that the integrated GPU is under heavy load for “3D”, while the rest of the hardware seems rather idle.According to the recommended specs for shadow the MiniPC should be able to run Shadow atleast on 1080p or am i mistaken? (it is even advertised for 4k 60 Hz streaming).For record. I also have a desktop with a dedicated GPU (GTX 960) with which I can run Shadow on 4k at 60Hz smoothly under the same setup (Monitor, cables, internet connection). Following I put info using the mandatory template as well as some additional screenshots. all of my inputs stop working when playing warframe from my pc
i havent tested with other games yet, but my ps4 controller will stop working after about 2 minutes. then i try to exit the game and my keyboard and mouse also stop working and i have to force quit shadow as i cannot control any part of it.
TouchPad and PS Button not working on Shadow Windows Client
Unsure if it is just the Windows client or not, however, when connecting my DS4 to my Windows Laptop, I get notified that the PS4 controller is connected. However, The TouchPad and PS Buttons do not work, and are not recognizing inputs. Everything else works correctly. Using my ghost with USB over IP, they work correctly, so something to do with the newer controller support function?
High Latency and Packet Loss
Hi everyone! I’ve been using Shadow in the UK for a while through the Paris server, since last Friday I started experiences high latency and packet loss (connection drops) with Shadow. What is very weird is that I have a 80mb download 5gz internet, and every internet speed I do across different sites reflects that. However, when testing my speed using the Shadow speed test, it shows a download speed of 20MB. This started this weekend, since I made the same test last week and it was showing 80MB. The way it is the shadow is unusable. The video is stuttering and freezing every 1 or 2 seconds. Unsual high ping spikes on my shadow boost
Hi, I am a Shadow Boost subscriber living in FLORIDA. NY is my datacenter. I’ve been frustrated by the high ping on my shadow which happens quite frequently. MY IP is COX and am on 150mbps plan. I am getting ping spikes of 8142ms and it is always more than 1000ms when i’m in game. This is making my gaming experience suck. I’m using a MBP 2015 with mac os Catalina 10.15.5. I’m using it on a 5ghz wifi router although my desk is right beside the router. I have tried trace route on my cmd prompt and am getting ping in range of 40-45ms which is decent, so I don’t understand what the issue is . I’ve tried restarting my router multiple times, rebooting my mac and shadow client to no avail. Can anyone suggest any fix for this problem ? Stay Safe
Xbox Controller recognised by Shadow but not in game
Hey, I just got a new Xbox Controller which I connected by Bluetooth on my Macbook, and also connected to my Android phone (not at the same time). The controller is immediately recognises by Shadow, on both devices, as I get a nice popup showing it is connected. On the Macbook it also shows up nicely in the controller menu in the Quick Menu. However, when I start a game on Shadow, in my case Fortnite, the game does not see the controller. It does not show the controller interface in the game menu, just the normal mouse and keyboard interface, while the Shadow Quick Menu still shows the controller is connected. Same result on Macbook and Android phone. Do I need to do additional steps to enable the controller in a game? The Fortnite menu usually auto-detects the type of controller. In Youtube videos you can see people switch between keyboard and controller on-the-fly. There is no controller selection in the Fortnite menu, as far as I know. Shadow causes External 4k monitor to flicker and tear

This happens when the shadow stream is in windowed and in full screen mode. The display of the laptop remains normal with no issues so I don’t believe it is the Graphics driver. I also spoke to Razer support and they believe the same (although they would ;-)).I can play games on the laptop through the external screen fine as well, it is only when the shadow desktop stream touches it that I have the problem. I have tried both the latest stable and Beta versions of the app.Any help or suggestions are greatly appreciated!Thanks in advance.
SteelSeries Arctis Pro microphone not working
I have read several forum topics on microphone issues and also submitted a ticket to Shadow, but so far nothing has worked for me.I am using a SteelSeries Arctis Pro USB headset. It works perfectly on my own computer. It's the only recording device currently enabled in the sound settings. I have tried both forwarding the USB peripherals and just enabling the microphone in the Quick Menu. If I forward the USB, the microphone works but the audio is broken and laggy. If I only enable the microphone (without forwarding peripherals), the audio is fine but the microphone doesn't work at all. The sample frequency is the same on my computer and Shadow (16-bit, 48000Hz), but my computer shows 2 channels and Shadow only shows 1 channel. I can't change either of them to match the other. I have tried using the official client and the beta client, with the same result every time. No 120hz option for Nvidia Shield Pro App
Hi! I’ve just bought a power upgrade and I notice that there is no 120hz option in the Shadow app for any resolution. Tried all 1080,1440,4k - only 60fps is available. I saw an old video on youtube where the 120hz option was available. Havent managed to find any info regarding that. I have a shield tv pro + lg c1, hdmi 2.0 cable all support 120hz at least in 1080p level. Shadow app version 13.12.2
