G29 input problems
Hello, I was recently trying to use my Logitech G29 Steering Wheel and it forwarded to shadow without any problems. I then simply turned the steering wheel and it inputted every button at the same time. This was the same for Forza Horizon 5 and beam.ng drive. Please let me know of any solutions I can apply to fix this.
Hi Shadow Community,I have been enjoying greatly playing Halo: MCC, on Shadow Boost (the standard package), however, I frequently get drops from 60 to 45-50fps for no reason (say once/twice a minute) and I’d like to figure out why. Need help fixing constant mouse latency that has been happening for the past week
I hope the forums can help me. I’m seriously at the end of my rope. I use a Shadow Ghost with wired keyboard and mouse. My internet is 500 mbs wired and I’ve confirmed the modem is working completely fine. For the past week, I’ve been getting latency in the thousands CONSTANTLY regardless of peak and low times. I attached a screenshot of my control panel below. Since taking that I switched to Alpha which actually improves the situation, but there’s still enough latency to render most games unplayable. I get that Covid has been making things hard. For months now I’ve had occasional latency during peak times. But this? This is a whole new level. My datacenter is Chicago and I personally live in Kentucky, so my ping SHOULD be 40 or slightly under.
How to get razer synapse to recognize my installed razer equipment?
Can anyone shed some light on how one goes about getting synapse to recognize a razer item installed. I can use it as intended but it doesn't show on the equipment in synapse on shadowtech. The item I'm working with is the tartarus pro.

External 4K Monitor Flicker and Tear 2022
There was a previous thread that highlighted this issue; however, it was listed as solved. I am unsure if this is a server problem or a new issue since in the past using the same Dell S2721QS 4K monitor there was no visual stuttering and tearing that now occurs within games. It occurs every second as a sudden halt and visual artifact which makes me think it is a monitor issue, but the steps and troubleshooting examples in the other thread make no change in the problem. The only solution I have found is changing the resolution of the game to 1440p, but as you can imagine it makes the image washed out on the 4K monitor I am using. Again, I am unsure if this is a hardware or a server problem since in actuality, I was using the Chicago server before these problems occurred and did not use the service for at least six months in between its shuttering. If anyone has a solution or suggestions to solve the issue, I would appreciate it.
Turning on Shadow disables internet in entire house
Hi all, Weird one. Ive had shadow a long time now. But for some reason all of a sudden, if i connect to shadow, my internet modem stops working lol. Internet dies on all phones and other computers in the house hold. Ive tried ethernet cables and so on. However shadow just “crashes?” my internet modem. Ive tried turning on shadow on different devices and still the same issue. Any help or idea’s why? It might be worth noting that with my profile i have “ticked the boost” option for my shadow. However i am Legacy, and their was no “legacy” option to tick. Any help would be great! :)Thanks
Anyone else have a consistent latency with Shadow?
So, I know latency for shadow is supposed to be around 30ms or so, but in the Quick Menu, it says this: My maximum bitrate is 45mb/s (set by the auto setup)My fps is 5 (currently, on Google Chrome)My bandwidth is 0.3mb/sMy latency is 41msAnd my packet loss is 0%See, everything runs fine, with a slight latency here and there, for the most part. But occasionally, we will say.. between every 5-15 minutes, there will be a huge lag spike, and then after that the latency is worse, consistently. Usually just the microphone latency, meaning that something I say doesn’t get transmitted until a few seconds after I say it. I can hear, see, and interact with the shadow just fine after the lag, but speaking seems to be an issue. Anyone else having this problem. or know how to fix it? I’m currently using the Alpha build, but I had this same problem with the official version and the Beta.
Can't play Apex on Steam
Hi,I tried to install Apex Legends via Steam on my Shadow and I get an Easy Anti Cheat error every single time I try to launch the game. I have tried many many “fixes” like updating drivers, repairing files, deactivating firewall etc… but no luck. Has anyone else encountered this issue? I’m on Shadow Mac OSerror I get every timeHas anyone had this problem and managed to fix it? Many thanks in advance
my connection suddenly became unstable
so I was playing GTA Online stunt races, everything was going good, then suddenly is started lagging to the point of being unplayable, I have about a 500 Mbps connection, and Shadow has NEVER been this unstable before, what do I do? do I just wait a few hours before trying again?
no internet on Shadow
Hey everyone, my first post here. I log in on Shadow and when I am on it, it says I have no internet. In the settings although it says there is a connection and my proxy is (still) off.(I read somewhere on Reddit that this could be the cause)Can someone help me with this? It is pretty frustrating that 5min ago I was online and now it is not working and nowhere can I see, why.Is their internet down?
Shadow Speedtest on new Apple TV 4K is slow and shadow is unusable
Hey guys. I just got the new Apple TV 4K recently and wanted to use shadow on it to play some games. And I’d like to say that it isn’t at all usable for me. I am connected via 5GHz wifi connection on it and when I use it there is a lot of lag. The speed test on the app shows me a download of 5 mbps whereas on the Speedtest app by ookla it is showing a 250+ download and upload speed on the Apple TV. I don’t have any lag issues on my iPad, MacBook nor my iPhone, all connected via wifi on 5GHz, the shadow experience is butter smooth there (even via 5G it’s usable on my iPad) but on the Apple TV it’s completely unusable. Could there be something that I am doing wrong in setting up shadow on my Apple TV? The firmware is on TVOS 15 for the Apple TV and the shadow app is on version 3.7.5. I am connected to the Dallas Datacenter and am physically in Austin.
Grand Theft Auto 5 XBOX Controller Problem? My side? or Client side?
Hello Shadow Community, Whenever I would play GTA 5 Online, my XBOX controller would sometimes be unresponsive and disconnect for couple of minutes. Has this happened to anyone with external USB peripherals? Was wondering if it’s my side of the end, or the client side, or even Shadow PC? I’ve done the usual, such as restarted streaming client and resetting USB connections but the unresponsive and disconnect still happens time to time.
USB Forwarding not working on my shadow pc for some reason
Hi. I have been trying to connect my USB flash drive (NTFS format) to my Shadow PC running on my Mac (Monterey 12.4). However, after I clicked on the Shadow icon on the top, I could not put a checkmark in the checkbox next to the name of my flash drive in “USB Forwarding". Is there a solution for this issue? Offer a button here that sends a Shutdown /a command to the machine such that a user can cancel their own accidental closure of the Shadow host application. (I mean, okay, I guess because I’m a lurker I can’t have Sys Admin ideas even though I use Shadow as a dev machine and I’m a veteran Desktop Admin? .. maybe do better there, too - I like you guys and your software, but I want to close this page right now and just give up on my suggestion)
saved login credentials
Hey Shadow-Support, if you force people to save the login credentials with the new client update then at least provide an option where i can revert this. I´m using Shadow from different devices and i don´t want to have my username and passwort stored on every device. I searched the options but i did not find any setting to revert this. Not really understandable to me why you push users to store the credentials. How about you just let me choose for myself? Thanks for the help.
