I'm at a loss as to what is going on that could be on my end. Shadow rests at 6 Mbps on a 600 Mbps connection.
Recently while playing Control, I suddenly noticed the screen going soft and unstable more and more so I figured Comcast was having a moment. I figured that throttling down to 60hz instead of 144 would be enough, but upon going to do so was reminded I had changed my native system’s refresh rate back to 60 so I could play Fallout 4 without launching into the atmosphere. So here was my Shadow failing to keep up at less than half the previous refresh rate that worked fine when I got it in late December. Then my eyes were drawn to the bandwidth. Sitting at a ridiculous 6 Mbps. I have Shadow maxed out to 70 because I should be able to run 5 at once on my home setup without it being an issue, but for some reason it was bottlenecking lower than I have ever seen it do for anything else. My first thought was still just that Comcast was having issues, but it has not gone away, and when I went to test my native system I saw that it was acting normally, and that for whatever reason the Shadow app
this is a very recent problem i have been having trouble with where I would have a huge noticeable input delay and my mouse sensitivity will change while doing it as well. its so much easier to show than explain but I didn't have this problem last week and it started Sunday and I thought it would eventually fix itself but turns out it never did. i have a 400 down and 100 up internet speed connected via ethernet. its kinda hard to play my games and produce music while having this problem as well lol. i mostly use 1600 x 900 120 fps just cause my local pc cant run 1080p 120 fpsI've tried switching between versions of shadow to see if that would work or even switching the resolution as well and nothing fixes it, I've also used the unlock mouse feature which does work but in games its spazzes out when looking around. idk if this is even any information I'm just typing to type at this point lol but if anyone could help me out lmk :) <3
The amount of bugs and problems in these months that I have been paying for the service are enormous, really the $ 20 that is paid is overshadowed by this. Today I have connected my virtual pc and the mouse does not recognize me, my cursor is still on my physical pc, but not on the virtual one. To make the explanation less complex, when I enter a video game the camera goes crazy because my mouse does not synchronize with that of the virtual machine, any solution to it?
Hello, I’ve been using Shadow for a bit, now I’ve a got a problem. Every time I launch Shadow my sense is slow for some reason. But then when I go off from the Fullscreen from Shadow and go back it, my mouse is the sense I want but, the multiple screen happens. I’m thinking that it is the Mouse Lock problem.
So, some game servers will block VPNs and Proxys for the sake of security or blocking alts. But my problem lies with the fact that these servers identify shadow as such. I was wondering if there were work arounds or a fix for this. Or maybe there just isn’t. Thank you.
Normally I don't have slim to none problems with shadow. I played this afternoon with my server located in Amsterdam, while having fiber internet. Suddenly my game started lagging and that only happens when I start my game. Could this be a stressed server ?
I used the speedtest in the past without issues but the last few weeks it gives an error and tells me to try again, to no avail. Is this a known issue? Shadow also seems to occasionally reset itself to 5mb/s, while I have a 100mb/s connection.Also, the “how did your last session go?” question no longer accepts input. I use Shadow on my Nvidia Shield, I can use the Shield controller to move the stars or select skip but when I want to confirm it does nothing, I have to use the < button to get out of the screen. This also used to work fine in the past.
Hi I am looking to speak with someone from shadow to help with this very odd issue. I need to speak with somebody at shadow to help me with my emails being all messed up and the fact that my shadow got blue screen of death. I have sent multiple requests on their support thing but no response. I originally started shadow with an email then deleted it and used another and it seemed to work however i notice now i don't get any emails to my new email and im not able to check the old one because it is deleted. What exactly can I do to get into contact with someone who can help me fix these issues?
Have to wait till 30th December for my shadow service to be up and ready on boost yearly sub I'm just wondering when I came in and started setting this up it asked for database however I'm unsure so I put Paris database was I correct I mean does it matter or?
I know there are a ton of questions already about this issue but none of the solutions I’ve read have helped me. I have a Logitech G Pro X that I use for audio on my computer. It works perfectly fine on my personal computer, but when I log into Shadow, my microphone will not work in any application. The computer itself will not recognize that I have a microphone. I’ve installed Logitech G Hub on Shadow but even on that app the headset doesn’t appear. I’ve followed each step listed at How to Connect a Microphone to Shadow – Shadow - Support (EN) and watched youtube videos but none of the solutions have worked. If I want to join a group chat on discord or another software, I have to make sure I join through my personal desktop and then go into Shadow, otherwise it won’t work in the Shadow software. Does anyone else have any other possible solutions? It’s very annoying to have to go back and forth between my desktop and Shadow.
Hi, I am a shadower for over a year now and the experience with the service has been a mixed bag of good and bad stuff. Lately however, the service seems to have gotten worse. What previously took Shadow PC like 30 sec to fully boot up for remote use, now it is in minutes (like 5-10 mins). And after so much waiting, there is a 50% chance, that Shadow will detect a wrong resolution, which leaves me with no other choice to close the stream and restarting the lenghty process again. Anyone else having such troubles? Or is this inefficiency of the random updates that caused this?
Hello, I have already asked support about this but they weren’t of any help. When I press my Next song button on my media keys, it gets stuck infinitely skipping the songs like i have an auto clicker clicking next song. I have tried both stable and beta clients on win 10 but neither fixed the issue. Any help is appreciated. Thanks!
When I move my mouse fast or flick, it slows down or stops. When I do it slow, there is no issues. I’m not sure what the issue is here. My mouse is wireless. I’m on shadow pc beta on mac. Also, the problem goes away when I use reliability, but it’s really laggy then. Does anyone know a fix? Thanks.
I have no idea what is wrong with Shadow at the moment, but it has so many issues that need to be fixed. As everyone else I am paying a lot of money for this streaming service but problems do not get fixed.I am from Germany and the streaming experience is getting worse. I do not know how this could come to this point but I am just a few steps away from cancelling! I am paying for seven months now!I can not play with series X controller because it is disconnecting five times in an hour. I always have to reconnect. I do not have these issues on Geforce Now. The BETA Version is a joke and is not working. When playing AC Valhalla the Controller is disconnecting even more often with the Beta version. The picture quality is getting worse. It is not as crisp as it was before. It is laggy at many times. My internet speed is perfect. Next bug...when changing the resolution from 1080p to native resolution of my tablet Shadow crashes. I've tried wired and Bluetooth keyboards on Android (phone and tablet) and they work fully, until starting a game. Character keys don't register (WASD) unless I'm holding ALT. However, chatting in Overwatch works FINE! Just not for actually playing Anyone else figure out a workaround? (emailing tech support back and forth ended with them telling me to ask here) Thanks for your time
