hi everyone, i need a little help with shadow vr login. I just subscribed to shadow and was wondering why shadow vr isnt accepting my login information. I tried several times, but it only says “login failed.” even tried changing my password, but still the same result. is it because my subscription isnt activated yet?
I currently use WindowBlinds and Start10 on my local PC and I am wondering if it’s ok to use them on my Shadow. I can make do without them but I find them aesthetically pleasing. I am unsure how they do what they do and don’t want to put my account at risk by inadvertently violating the terms of service. Does anyone know if it’s ok to use those programs? Thanks in advance!
hi folks i have been having this issue plague me for a while now. my shadow keeps on making like what i can describe as a notification noise. the thing is nothing pops up and i cannot find where this noise is coming from. i have checked my local pc and disabled my notifications i have done the same on my shadow one. this noise is intermittent and makes gaming difficult. i managed to get a recording of the sound so that the tech team could hear it. if any1 can help with this extremely frustrating noise i would appreciate it.
I’ve been using Shadow on my iPad Pro for a few weeks now and the experience has been amazing. however in the last few days everything loads fine but I can’t click anything on the top bar of a window if it is maximised. It is like there is an invisible bar at the top of my session that is intercepting the input. My browser is a good example where I can’t switch tabs or click on the close button. any ideas?
Hi there fellow Shadow Users, maybe one of you can be of any assistance; my account keeps going from Connecting to Shadow towards Shadow is off. I have tried an account of a friend of mine without any problems on the same device (Ghost). So the problem most likely lies in my account or on my Shadow on the server side.Does any of you have suggestions? Thank you in advance
I am not able to download the Shadow VR app via sidequest on my Quest 2. It claims the apk is downloaded, but it is not located in my unknown sources tab. I tried to download a few other apps and they work fine. Anyone else had this issue and if so a fix ? I'm fine with waiting, but would like to try it a little early ! Thank you in advance.
I ready already some Topics about this but want to clarifyit a bit more to know where the Issue lies. I play on my Mac mini with M1 Chip, its 4k/60fps capable. When Playing (War Thunder) I notice very hard Stuttering at 4K. Sometimes funny enough also on HD and WQHD without V-Sync or an Max. FPS Cap at 60, but (on HD/WQHD) I get around 140fps, on 4K 50-60fps ingame, what massivly bothers my when I see that the Frames are not the Problem, the Bandwidth seems also ok, my Internet Speed I have at home (living in North-Germany) is near 1GB (980mbs) download, and 50mbs upload. Testet it with H.265 on and off, and turnt also 4:4:4 on and of (which a bit helps but not really)I consider atm. to Switch from my Mac mini M1 and to buy parts for a PC with iGPU (Intel Core i7-11700K 11. gen) when the encoder or the Mac itself is the Problem :/I know Shadow is no holy grail and 4K Gaming is a first world problem but when I can't play proper, no Star Citizen and Stuff I want to play, but can't, is th
Hi,running the current shadow (Launcher v4.29.14 | Client v3.15.16 from web site as of 2022-02-11) on MacOS Monterey 12.1 (Macbook Pro). I want to use my (oldie but goldie) Microsoft Force Feedback 2 Joystick with X-Plane. The Shadow itself is completely virgin (freshly installed and fully MS updated 2022-02-11 + current Nvidia driver 511.65).Shadow client USB support installed flawlessly, I see the joystick offered in the shadow overlay on the shadow instance and also can tick it to being forwarded as expected. So, everthing looks good, but the device simply is not recognized at all by Windows@Shadow.Currently i use the very same device successfully via VirtualHere (joystick plugged into a local linux machine running the VirtualHere server, and Windows@Shadow running the VirtualHere client). With this configuration the joystick drivers are installed by windows as soon as i connect the joystick in the VirtualHere client for the very first time, and afterwards it just works. So basicall
I don’t know whats going on but my bandwidth was always fine at 24 mbit/s but then halfway through a play session i get a huge lag spike therefore me having to go all the down to 5, its still completely playable and i have no problems but im just wondering why its doing this ive never had a problem, been a shadow user since last year around fall or so.
So, I’ve had Shadow for a few days now and I use it on my 4g data speed through a hotspot device. I’m considering changing to a home internet plan because I’m definitely getting stutters and input lags despite the allocation is at 1mbps with no change between UDP, TCP, as well as H.265. UDP and TCP is the “Streaming preferences” and the H.265 is the “High Efficiency Video Coding H.265” in the app settings. So, my question is: Considering there are issues with my local Santa Clara data center, am I still affected because I’m a new subscriber even though I don’t have extra storage? I just noticed I can limit my frame rate and I forgot I had 4:4:4 color enhancements on so I’ll come back to the forum after I change those as well as test. Edit: I forgot to add that live streaming to Twitch does not show the stutters and lags I experienced. I use OBS to live stream on my Shadow computer and not on my local laptop.
