Hi! i am using Shadow Alpha on MacOS (Intel) because of the ongoing USB Peripheral issue.I didn’t notice previously, but two specific keybinds are not working:Shift+Mousewheel UpShift+Mousewheel DownBoth Shift and Mousewheel work perfectly when used separately (Shift modifier also works with all other binds perfectly too!). Any help would be great!
I have been having an issue with my USB devices no longer wanting to be forwarded. I would click the box to forward it, and it would try to connect but never would no matter how many times i would try. The only solution I researched that would work is resetting your windows. I just recently discovered something that may fix the issue making it able to reconnect. I downloaded an application called, Process Hacker 2, once downloaded I opened it up and went to the “Services” tab, scrolled down to UsbService Eltima USB Network Gate and restarted and force started the process. Without restarting my pc I was able to forward my usb devices to my Shadow. Sorry if this a mess or if I didn't follow some sort of rule, I have never posted in any sort of forum, but I was never able to find a quick fix for this issue. There isn’t a point in extended storage, I may as well get rid of it with how slow it is, its faster to just reinstall games for the c drive than even use the d drive. this has been a problem for over 7 months, I am just not even sure I should waste money on something you seem to not fix wether its because you don’t care or you just cant fix it but please do something.
Been tryna get my usb headset working but when I try and tick it on usb peripherals the circle just spins and stops and doesn't do anything then when I try and connect it via microphone and check sound setting the picture below appears. Also happens when trying to connect my controller.
Problem: When switching between Desktop and Mobil when dual screen enabled ill tap on my phone and my mouse will be off set to only half the screen. Solutions: add dual screen compatibility for Mobil for users who play in VR and want to have multiple screens.
Using the android app on my Nvidia Shield. When I started it up last monday I got a message that the app was updating. It showed “uninstalling component 2 of 8” for at least 20 minutes. Then it out of nowhere it went back to the home screen and I could start up Shadow as normal, no further mention of any update and it seems to work fine. But an annoyance that plagued me a while ago is now back: the windows setting to make everything bigger resets back to 100% each time I boot up. I play on my tv so I want it at 125. Also, like half the time I don't have sound. Rebooting the Shield seems to fix it, even though the other apps on the shield have sound just fine.
Has anyone currently got this working? I have a Thrustmaster TX and having problems with the built in USB Forwarding and third party solutions. I have good latency circa 20ms, using ethernet and 20Mbps upload speed. I’m in London UK and using Paris data centre. Using shadow built in usb forwarding I just keep hearing the usb connecting/disconnecting sound in shadow.Using virtualhere and ZeroTier I can mount it in shadow using the virtual here client but it shows in device manager with error code 10.Any ideas? Maybe my upload speed is still not quite good enough. Would love to get this working otherwise will need to quit shadow. regards, Popee
hi and sorry for my bad english My question is simple, am I the only one who can't connect to shadow today? official version or beta it's the same, the beta asks me to transfer to beta version and runs in a loop. the official asks me to go official and turns on a loop --' other people in this case? someone found a solution? uninstallation etc already try
Hello, I see this issue a lot in these forums, and I haven’t seen any get settled yet. If anyone can help me please, my Shadow works good on my phone, but every time I try to use it on my PC (Laptop Windows 10, updated to date) it comes up with Error R-0x4 pops up. I’ve tried installing DOT 3.5 or whatever and I did that uninstalled shadow reinstalled like 4 times it’s tiring at this point…any more suggestions would be amazing. Someone help me figure this out please
Hey all. I just got my shadow vr set up and I’m having two main issues. The first is im not getting audio in shadow vr. Am I missing a setting or permission I need to change on the oculus.The second is when using 2d mode, I can read anything on the screen it’s all blurry. Is there a resolution setting that needs to be changed?

Que faire ?!
I am trying to use the new MultiScreen feature to connect both my laptop and my google Chromecast with google tv to my shadow to use both as screens. I am having an issue where the Chromecast bumps my laptop off from the connection and become the primary device. When I then try to log on my laptop, I successfully connect, but my mouse and keyboard do not work because the laptop is the secondary device. Is there anyway to connect both my laptop and Chromecast to shadow and have my laptop as the primary device?
I’ve been having some issues installing shadow on my raspberry pi.it’s a raspberry pi 4 with ubuntu 18.0.4 running on it.i’ve made the appimage executable, and checked off permissions for read/writehowever, when i try to run it, it creates a file that reads ‘wrong encoding’how do i get this to run?
I ordered my shadow a few days ago. It previously told me that I had one order in the works. Today I checked the portal and my shadow is not activated, but it shows no orders in progress. Is this a mistake, a bug, or do they just take the order out of the portal when it’s about to be activated?
I’m located in Salt Lake City, Utah. Using Google Fiber. Since at-least Christmas (12/25/2021) I have been unable to maintain a connection to Shadow PC. Prior to this, I was getting less than 30 ms latency and 0% packet loss. Now I’m up to 60+ ms and 38% packet loss (see screen cap below). It’s so bad that Shadow disconnects me. I did the usually investigating on my local network (wireless vs. wired), connecting directly to the router etc. Generally getting excellent performance out of my ISP. So I dug a bit deeper, found the IPs for Shadow in California. Doing a traceroute there appears to be a network peering point having some issues. The tool I’m using is mtr and it continuously runs, so the 2nd screenshot of mtr is after an hour-ish. I assume they’ve been having these issues for awhile. What can be done? I’d like to use Shadow again. Anyone else in my city have the same problem?
I have been having this problem today, and a bit yesterday. Every time I try to launch shadow it gives a v-100 error. Thinking its was my computer, I tried my android, only to be given a r-108 error. I was getting the v-100 error yesterday, but I could play, even if it was laggy. I was only playing civ 6 so it was no big deal. Now I can’t use it at all.
Hi all,Since a few weeks i’ve the issue where my usb devices keep connecting and disconnecting. I’ve tried everything update drivers of usb devices, reinstall shadow, use beta launcher, complete fresh install of shadow etc.Nothing works for me…My ping is always lower than 10ms so that shouldn’t be the issue.If there’s someone with a suggestion, be my guest.
Good day. Faced such a problem, I can not connect the controller from PS5. Previously, the same controller was repeatedly connected and the shadow defined it as PS5 and everything was fine, but for reasons I did not understand, it stopped working.Previously, having connected the controller to the wire, the shadow saw and determined that it was a controller from PS5 and offered to use a microphone from this controller.Now I connect the controller and the shadow does not see it, also when (win + alt + o) is turned on, the sc-104 error is displayed, the shadow also suggests changing the microphone. The microphone from PS5 sees, but the controller itself does not, a very incomprehensible situation.What has already been done is rebooting, shutting down, reinstalling drivers, switching to beta shadow and back.One way seems to help, enable it in the settings My Shadow> Use my USB devices .... but after that the controller does not work correctly in the aspects of sound and vibration (I wan
HelloI’m not sure if I’m in the wrong sub for this but I wanted to ask why I can’t use my shadow pc? Everything was working until today in afternoon where it just suddenly kicked me off and since then it’s just kept trying to connect to shadow pc. Is there any issue or how can I fix this? nvm.
