Hey quick question, what is going on with Shadow for users in New York and a few other service areas? Not being able to connect and function, this gos in and out for the last 37 hours or so. Im sure someone has posted already but can find any info, other then the server status site. However this gives little information at this point. Thnx
Hi all,I subscribed to shadow today as I have missed being able to play games since I am a university student and my main PC is still at home.The PC I have with me is capable of running a few games however any FPSs are unplayable (frame rate too low due to integrated graphics)I am having troubles connecting to the rig and I think it is because of the network settings here in my apartment (I use the building’s wifi; it’s fast up&down with low latency)I believe it is the building’s network settings that are hindering the ability to connect since when I run a hotspot it works (please refrain from just telling me to use my hotspot permanently). And I have turned off anti-virus/firewall to no availAnyways. Is there are solution that anyone knows of to circumvent these restrictions? VPN? VMware? Anything?I am not very well educated in the ins and outs of networking so any ideas/help will be useful!Many thanks! Application type (Windows/Mac/Mobile/etc.): Windows 10 Shadow Client Versio
Today I’ve installed Shadow on a clean installed MacBook Air 2020 (M1). The MacBook is running macOS 12.2.1. When installing the USB driver I instantly receive the well known error message “ An unexpected error happened with the USB devices redirection drivers” (cf. Screenshot). None of the provides options works. The Help Center article does not help, since all lists from which things should be deleted are empty. Which makes sense since the driver hasn’t been installed in advance. I’ve tried to use the Release, Beta, and Alpha version, all resulting in the same error.
Hello I have tried to find this in the pages but i didn't I also tried online for a few hours but I'm not the most gifted with a pc at the best of times I kind of stumbled into shadow by chance. I got myself the additional storage and can see it but wanted to download old games onto like lotro but cant seem to find a way is there a simple guide that could help me please?
I am using the Shadow Ghost and have the Logitech G502 Hero and Logitec G513 Mouse and Keyboard.As of last week when using the shadow I have been given the notification of the Auto Shutdown timer when I am using Shadow and no matter if I click type or anything it does not register I have not had this issue at all until last week. I have seen that it might be an issue with the 3.0 ports but I have been using them and have had not had the issue up until last week.
USB 3.0 Port not working in the actual shadow PC, Audio is also quiet even when at full volume as well
It seems like I’m a regular here aha, however the USB 3.0 isn’t working in the actual PC it works fine in the launcher but not in the PC 1 of the ports is broken on my shadow box so I can’t use that either and the message that windows tells me is that the last device used on this PC malfunctioned even though I just turned it off like I usually do by holding the power button on the box until it turns off I only have 2 functioning USB ports but I need 3 to plug in my controller to use my flight simulator which obviously I'm unable to do. The other issue has been here since day 1 but I didn’t mention it because it wasn’t too much of a concern however I thought I might as well mention it as I don’t want to keep coming back and bothering you guys my audio is too quiet even though it’s on full 100 on everything and when playing certain games on steam the audio is that quiet that it even puts me off playing the game, so if there is anything I can do to fix this then that would very much be ap
Hello,I bought a thrustmaster t150 steering wheel as I had read that it would work with shadowpc. Now it turns out I can't get this to work.I installed the drivers several times on my computer and on shadow. also via USB transfer. I see the trustmaster t150 in the systemscreen but with a yellow exclamation pointI also tried via virtualhere, but I can't eitherCan anybody help me?
For some reason after I've had a storage upgrade in Texas soon afterward my fps dropped to around 2 - 10fpsSometimes Even freezing for minutes on end and cutting me off. Sometimes my display goes to the size as a tablet with 140p quality. It's not my computer or my internet as both are working perfectly fine on other devices. I rebooted and turned off devices on the internet. Still tje same problem for 24 hours now. I've seen a few people on tje discord complain about degraded performances as well Is there anyway you guys can fix this.I'm hoping this can get resolved. I don't want to cancel 🙏
Hey,have a question re the use of an integrated microphone within ThinkPad X1 Lenovo headphones.I have two opportunities to hear the sound with my headset. 1. Stereo & 2. “Normal” Both methodes work with my local Laptop.When I start the launcher and using the stereo setting I can hear also hear the stereo sound in Shadow. When I switch the microphone option and want to use the headphone mic, the sound switches of and I can not hear anything. When switch off mic option in the launcher, sound is back. Anyone has has hint or can help? Thks a lot
So it's now the 5th day and shadow is still not recognising my monitor, stuck on 1080p. Nvidia driver's don't install correctly, factory reset didn't do anything all my files are still as it was. Black screen, flickering etc etc etc. Any news Shadow? Please don't ask me to contact the dinasour, it's insulting
Recently I’ve been facing an issue that has been kind of weird because of the fact that 99% of the time Shadow VR has worked by installing the SteamVR application as well as games. I’ve recently however done that and had an issue where I’m not hearing anything in the SteamVR app as well games. Could someone help me that has had this issue or that knows what’s going on.
Somehow, Shadow started to be buggy, no matter what client (iOS, Chromebook, Android TV, and Windows). My Storage was at 21.6 GB so i wanted to reset it, anywho. As i went on my account, clicked my shadow and then reset my shadow and delete all data. I put in my password and it clicked contune and got an error message “Oups, something went wrong, we could not reset your vm”. This started to happen last night. Please help!
Bonjour,Je suis depuis peu sur un shadow ghost, or quand je l’utilise, en pleine partie de jeu un message s’affiche sur le bas de l’écran me demandant si je suis toujours là. C’est le message avant l’extinction automatique du Shadow par manque d’activité. En même temps je ressen une grosse chute de FPS. Or je l’utilise, je suis en pleine partie. Le message ne disparait pas. Puis le shadow ghost s’éteint.Savez-vous comment résoudre ce problème ?
Hi, I have 2 monitors on my system and have shadow running in the right in window mode. When I try to turn a character inside the game running in the shadow. the mouse leave that monitor and goes to the other one, so I loose control of the character, quite annoying and makes it impossible to do anything really. How do I make the mouse cursor/control stay inside the shadow window? And follow question, how do I move the mouse out of the window so I can go to the other monitor?
