Using the android app on my Nvidia Shield. When I started it up last monday I got a message that the app was updating. It showed “uninstalling component 2 of 8” for at least 20 minutes. Then it out of nowhere it went back to the home screen and I could start up Shadow as normal, no further mention of any update and it seems to work fine. But an annoyance that plagued me a while ago is now back: the windows setting to make everything bigger resets back to 100% each time I boot up. I play on my tv so I want it at 125. Also, like half the time I don't have sound. Rebooting the Shield seems to fix it, even though the other apps on the shield have sound just fine.
Has anyone currently got this working? I have a Thrustmaster TX and having problems with the built in USB Forwarding and third party solutions. I have good latency circa 20ms, using ethernet and 20Mbps upload speed. I’m in London UK and using Paris data centre. Using shadow built in usb forwarding I just keep hearing the usb connecting/disconnecting sound in shadow.Using virtualhere and ZeroTier I can mount it in shadow using the virtual here client but it shows in device manager with error code 10.Any ideas? Maybe my upload speed is still not quite good enough. Would love to get this working otherwise will need to quit shadow. regards, Popee
hi and sorry for my bad english My question is simple, am I the only one who can't connect to shadow today? official version or beta it's the same, the beta asks me to transfer to beta version and runs in a loop. the official asks me to go official and turns on a loop --' other people in this case? someone found a solution? uninstallation etc already try
Hello, I see this issue a lot in these forums, and I haven’t seen any get settled yet. If anyone can help me please, my Shadow works good on my phone, but every time I try to use it on my PC (Laptop Windows 10, updated to date) it comes up with Error R-0x4 pops up. I’ve tried installing DOT 3.5 or whatever and I did that uninstalled shadow reinstalled like 4 times it’s tiring at this point…any more suggestions would be amazing. Someone help me figure this out please
Hey all. I just got my shadow vr set up and I’m having two main issues. The first is im not getting audio in shadow vr. Am I missing a setting or permission I need to change on the oculus.The second is when using 2d mode, I can read anything on the screen it’s all blurry. Is there a resolution setting that needs to be changed?
Bonjour à tous, avant tout chose je tien à préciser que jais contactée le support et mon problème ne fut jamais réglé.Depuis l'update du luncher on me demande de me connecter avec le navigateur je vais tout ce que le site me demande et après aucune réponse du luncher . . .Jais esseyer avec chrome explorer Microsoft edge même problème, jais redémarrer l'ordinateur, desinstaller l'application shadow, esseyer sur la version bêta rien ne fonctionne... Que faire ?!
I am trying to use the new MultiScreen feature to connect both my laptop and my google Chromecast with google tv to my shadow to use both as screens. I am having an issue where the Chromecast bumps my laptop off from the connection and become the primary device. When I then try to log on my laptop, I successfully connect, but my mouse and keyboard do not work because the laptop is the secondary device. Is there anyway to connect both my laptop and Chromecast to shadow and have my laptop as the primary device?
Hey quick question, what is going on with Shadow for users in New York and a few other service areas? Not being able to connect and function, this gos in and out for the last 37 hours or so. Im sure someone has posted already but can find any info, other then the server status site. However this gives little information at this point. Thnx
Hi all,I subscribed to shadow today as I have missed being able to play games since I am a university student and my main PC is still at home.The PC I have with me is capable of running a few games however any FPSs are unplayable (frame rate too low due to integrated graphics)I am having troubles connecting to the rig and I think it is because of the network settings here in my apartment (I use the building’s wifi; it’s fast up&down with low latency)I believe it is the building’s network settings that are hindering the ability to connect since when I run a hotspot it works (please refrain from just telling me to use my hotspot permanently). And I have turned off anti-virus/firewall to no availAnyways. Is there are solution that anyone knows of to circumvent these restrictions? VPN? VMware? Today I’ve installed Shadow on a clean installed MacBook Air 2020 (M1). The MacBook is running macOS 12.2.1. When installing the USB driver I instantly receive the well known error message “ An unexpected error happened with the USB devices redirection drivers” (cf. Screenshot). None of the provides options works. The Help Center article does not help, since all lists from which things should be deleted are empty. Which makes sense since the driver hasn’t been installed in advance. I’ve tried to use the Release, Beta, and Alpha version, all resulting in the same error.
Hello I have tried to find this in the pages but i didn't I also tried online for a few hours but I'm not the most gifted with a pc at the best of times I kind of stumbled into shadow by chance. I got myself the additional storage and can see it but wanted to download old games onto like lotro but cant seem to find a way is there a simple guide that could help me please?
I am using the Shadow Ghost and have the Logitech G502 Hero and Logitec G513 Mouse and Keyboard.As of last week when using the shadow I have been given the notification of the Auto Shutdown timer when I am using Shadow and no matter if I click type or anything it does not register I have not had this issue at all until last week. I have seen that it might be an issue with the 3.0 ports but I have been using them and have had not had the issue up until last week.
USB 3.0 Port not working in the actual shadow PC, Audio is also quiet even when at full volume as well
It seems like I’m a regular here aha, however the USB 3.0 isn’t working in the actual PC it works fine in the launcher but not in the PC 1 of the ports is broken on my shadow box so I can’t use that either and the message that windows tells me is that the last device used on this PC malfunctioned even though I just turned it off like I usually do by holding the power button on the box until it turns off I only have 2 functioning USB ports but I need 3 to plug in my controller to use my flight simulator which obviously I'm unable to do. The other issue has been here since day 1 but I didn’t mention it because it wasn’t too much of a concern however I thought I might as well mention it as I don’t want to keep coming back and bothering you guys my audio is too quiet even though it’s on full 100 on everything and when playing certain games on steam the audio is that quiet that it even puts me off playing the game, so if there is anything I can do to fix this then that would very much be ap
Hello,I bought a thrustmaster t150 steering wheel as I had read that it would work with shadowpc. Now it turns out I can't get this to work.I installed the drivers several times on my computer and on shadow. also via USB transfer. I see the trustmaster t150 in the systemscreen but with a yellow exclamation pointI also tried via virtualhere, but I can't eitherCan anybody help me?
For some reason after I've had a storage upgrade in Texas soon afterward my fps dropped to around 2 - 10fpsSometimes Even freezing for minutes on end and cutting me off. Sometimes my display goes to the size as a tablet with 140p quality. It's not my computer or my internet as both are working perfectly fine on other devices. I rebooted and turned off devices on the internet. Still tje same problem for 24 hours now. I've seen a few people on tje discord complain about degraded performances as well Is there anyway you guys can fix this.I'm hoping this can get resolved. I don't want to cancel 🙏
