Hi, I have some issues with my additionnal storage, here my configuration : Windows Application Official version Local device CPU : Intel(R) Core(TM) i7-3630QM CPU @ 2.40GHz 2.40 GHz Local device GPU : Nvidia GeForce 660M Datacenter location : Paris Connection speed (Paris) : 51Mb/s Description of issue : First of all, 2 days ago, my shadow freezes and crashed all the shadow with many problems to reconnect. I realized it was my additionnal storage which caused the issue each time i tried to write on it. I wanted to erase anything on it and formate but it never ends and freezes all the shadow. Now, my additionnal storage is not usable at all. Other: Date when problem appeared : 10/12/2020 Did you take any action(s) which could have created this problem? If so, what? Maybe installation of Cyberpunk? Do you recall any action(s) you took after it happened? Uninstall Steam, change directory, erase additional storage Disk Do you use a VPN and/or antivirus? No Thank you
I am playing GTA Roleplay. If i move around, i am not able to aim good because i got very much fps drops.. They are going from 80 ( which is very low with settings all set to minimum) to 30-50. On an old comouter, its working much better.. What is the problem?? 2nd thing is, that my microphone starts to make vrunchy sounds when i am talking sometimes. Mic is okay since in host OS it works perfectly. Would really love to upgrade if the performance is better.. 1080 is way too outdated nowadays
Hi! i am using Shadow Alpha on MacOS (Intel) because of the ongoing USB Peripheral issue.I didn’t notice previously, but two specific keybinds are not working:Shift+Mousewheel UpShift+Mousewheel DownBoth Shift and Mousewheel work perfectly when used separately (Shift modifier also works with all other binds perfectly too!). Any help would be great!
Hey all,First of all I’ve always been satisfied with shadow, I’ve had mine for about a year and it has always worked fine. But recently i’ve uncovered a (very) minor bug with spotify (or at least it does with spotify, i’m pretty sure it has to do with the way shadow processes keyboard inputs). My keyboard, a very cheap membrane Zalman keyboard from an old combo, has media keys. They work as you’d expect. I’ve always used shadow with spotify, but since I have a good enough connection I prefer having 2 instances open, one on my desktop, and one on shadow. The point is to have it play on the real computer for better audio quality, and control it with spotify connect on my shadow. However, for a few weeks my “Next” key seems to glitch in shadow, it skips tracks indefinitely like if I kept it pressed. This doesn’t seem to happen when I only have it running on shadow, but I definitely feel the drop in audio quality :/ Does anyone else have this problem ? If so did you find a fix ?
Hello All, Iam Amsterdam data center, after return some days last holiday. My Shadow don't work at allthe app freezes and crash every 10-30 secs. Internet runs perfect else Greetings Raphael
There was a previous thread that highlighted this issue; however, it was listed as solved. I am unsure if this is a server problem or a new issue since in the past using the same Dell S2721QS 4K monitor there was no visual stuttering and tearing that now occurs within games. It occurs every second as a sudden halt and visual artifact which makes me think it is a monitor issue, but the steps and troubleshooting examples in the other thread make no change in the problem. The only solution I have found is changing the resolution of the game to 1440p, but as you can imagine it makes the image washed out on the 4K monitor I am using. Again, I am unsure if this is a hardware or a server problem since in actuality, I was using the Chicago server before these problems occurred and did not use the service for at least six months in between its shuttering. If anyone has a solution or suggestions to solve the issue, I would appreciate it.
It’s a very weird issue and i saw that somebody had the similar thing a year ago but didn’t receive an answer here.So i played many games with my XBOX Controller on Shadow without any lags or issues, but i have issues with one specific game: Modern Warfare (2019). I found out that in the game i get some controller lag. Interestingly it only feels really bad when shooting. When i click on the RT shoot button it shoots for like 2-3 seconds instead of only when i press the button. If i change to Keyboard the problem disappears.Anyone having a similar problem? Thanks
If you have this issue it is due to a Windows 10 issue. Here is how you fix it. Uninstall Shadow Download and install CCleaner (Free version: https://www.ccleaner.com/) Run CCleaner and run an "Easy Scan" and cleanup Go to the your %appdata% folder (Windows search '%appdata') and delete all 'Shadow'-related folders Delete the folder C://Users/username/.shadow Restart your computer Download and install Shadow again at https://account.shadow.tech/apps If this still fails follow these steps: Shut down your Computer Unplug power to your router Unplug power to your cable/DSL modem and wait 15 seconds Restart your modem and wait for all lights to return Restart your router and wait for all lights to return Start your computer again and connect to your Shadow to see if the issue persists. If this still fails go to your Shadow launcher settings, click send logs and send them to shadow support.
Hi I have an issue where, when I right click on a app on the taskbar I dont get any options to unpin app from taskbar or anything like that. Also when I hover over an icon on the taskbar it leaves a dark background on the icon. Some games also dont go into full screen and dosent remove the taskbar when I'm in a game.
So, I am using Shadow Boost and very happy with it. I use it for PC Gaming, for connecting it to my Oculus Quest 2 VR set and on the TV to play console-like games with the Nvidia Shield, also through steam. Great. Now the issues I want to solve to make it even better:I made a startup profile which includes starting up Steam, Oculus software, Virtual desktop software and the steam VR client. I did this, because starting those individual software things from my mobile (before I connect my VR set to the ShadowPC) is quite a nuisance; the screen of my mobile is too small. The problem is that I don't need most of that when I play from my TV or PC. Playing from my TV requires a different startup/boot profile. So what, I guess, I'm looking for is a utility where I can make multiple startup/boot profiles with screen size settings, hardware profiles (like controllers etc) and what software to startup.Have you guys used something like that already? What would be the best way to solve it?
