Last night, playing Civ VI was fine. This morning I noticed the game crashed three times. When I got into eh Quick Menu, I notice that the client is running at 7-9fps just on the game menu. Trying to quit the game causes it to freeze for about 10 seconds, then go into a not responding state. I saw briefly that the CPU was stuck at 100%Recently I see that the GFX car has changed from a 1080, to a Quadro. Which I thought was generally for design, rather than gaming. The feeling that Shadow’s machines are lagging behind in what is considered a gaming machine. The only thing that makes these mahcines technically “Gaming” is the gfx card. Now it seems I’m (trying to) play games on a CAD PC.EDIT: fps in windows is 3fps.
Hi! i am using Shadow Alpha on MacOS (Intel) because of the ongoing USB Peripheral issue.I didn’t notice previously, but two specific keybinds are not working:Shift+Mousewheel UpShift+Mousewheel DownBoth Shift and Mousewheel work perfectly when used separately (Shift modifier also works with all other binds perfectly too!). Any help would be great!
hi and sorry for my bad english My question is simple, am I the only one who can't connect to shadow today? official version or beta it's the same, the beta asks me to transfer to beta version and runs in a loop. the official asks me to go official and turns on a loop --' other people in this case? someone found a solution? uninstallation etc already try
So I’ve just started using the new multi monitor display and not sure if this is a common problem or maybe something I can fix? I have dual monitors running on shadow, but my primary keeps flashing and becoming blurry during that flash period which happens every 1-3 seconds. Curious if anyone has any solutions or has experienced similar? Im about to just end my subscription but it seems that Shadow is at least keeping true to our 12 month contract. I”ll be ending it afterwards but curious if there is a fix in the meantime. 1 replyPosted on 16 July 2021, 19:47NewAuthor1I can’t find an option to edit the original post, and realize this response is days late but here is the correct template. I am having audio issues, every time I reset my Shadow P.C, it fixes it. But when I update Windows it switches my Audio to “HDMI High Definition Audio” I have no idea why. I d not get sound from that. Any ideas? I’ve tried to disable and enable it multiple times. Nothing. I’m starting to get frustrated
Okay so I’m attempting to stream/record on my shadow but because I have a USB Microphone (onn. USB Podcast Microphone https://www.walmart.com/ip/onn-USB-Podcast-Microphone/742648579) and after installing the USB Devices Driver it seemed to work but after about 20-30 minutes of use the shadow application completely stops responding and I cannot tab out of the app forcing me to have to sign out or restart my computer entirely.
So, I am using Shadow Boost and very happy with it. I use it for PC Gaming, for connecting it to my Oculus Quest 2 VR set and on the TV to play console-like games with the Nvidia Shield, also through steam. Great. Now the issues I want to solve to make it even better:I made a startup profile which includes starting up Steam, Oculus software, Virtual desktop software and the steam VR client. I did this, because starting those individual software things from my mobile (before I connect my VR set to the ShadowPC) is quite a nuisance; the screen of my mobile is too small. The problem is that I don't need most of that when I play from my TV or PC. Playing from my TV requires a different startup/boot profile. So what, I guess, I'm looking for is a utility where I can make multiple startup/boot profiles with screen size settings, hardware profiles (like controllers etc) and what software to startup.Have you guys used something like that already? What would be the best way to solve it?
So, I fly tiny whoops in Velocidrone and my laptop has a hard time with the complex scenery and I get lag. So, I figured Shadow would be perfect for this because I have great internet. I installed Velocidrone on Shadow, launched it, and connected my controller (An FrSky X-Lite with a USB receiver dongle). When I fly, my controller responds ok, but what I see is like really slow stop animation, it’s not a smooth picture. I don’t know what the problem is because when I installed Shadow, it said my internet was perfect and I know that to be true, so is there another problem I’m missing? I’m not sure what to do.
Good day. Faced such a problem, I can not connect the controller from PS5. Previously, the same controller was repeatedly connected and the shadow defined it as PS5 and everything was fine, but for reasons I did not understand, it stopped working.Previously, having connected the controller to the wire, the shadow saw and determined that it was a controller from PS5 and offered to use a microphone from this controller. Now I connect the controller and the shadow does not see it, also when (win + alt + o) is turned on, the sc-104 error is displayed, the shadow also suggests changing the microphone. The microphone from PS5 sees, but the controller itself does not, a very incomprehensible situation. What has already been done is rebooting, shutting down, reinstalling drivers, switching to beta shadow and back. One way seems to help, enable it in the settings My Shadow> Use my USB devices .... but after that the controller does not work correctly in the aspects of sound and vibration (I wan
So I've been playing half life 9n my oculus quest 2 with shadow and virtual desktop via steam VR for a week and today it stopped working.Seems that my oculus is not being detected by steam on the shadow pc, I can see that my laptop at home is detecting the oculus. Please help!

I use creative cloud Photoshop on my Shadow.Host PC is Ubuntu 20.04, so I have to use the god-aweful linux appimage.90% of the time I need 20 tries to even connect to my Shadow Desktop, but thats a story for another day. The infuriating bug is, that when Photoshop is open, and I drag the cursor over the canvas - MY whole PC shuts down.Like not shadow client is breaking down, my whole pc is going black, doesnt recognize input and only a hard shutdown (longpress Power) recovers me. The Shadow instance is not broken. I can access the same instance again via Windows and Android. So the Linux AppImage is fundamentally broken. I assume its some strange pixel values that the client misinterprets. Maybe similiar to the pixel bug that bricked Samsung Androids, when you put it up as a wallpaper device. Thats the only technical idea I have, why a visual thing can make MY pc shutdown. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=iXKvwPjCGnY Any ideas where I could sent some example data? I mean I can reliably r
Got a v-100 error today. Went through the trouble shooting on here by shadow which places all blame on local computer or isp.Turns out error was because shadow machine was doing a windows update. Would be nice if there was a way to check this or if this was explained as a possibility on the v-100 faq. In addition, why was a shutdown shadow machine doing a windows update?
