Hello,I was hoping to have better latency due to being on gigabit google fiber and going ethernet into my router. Attached to this ticket is a screenshot from Ping Plotter. It appears the issue may be between google and gtt.net - is there anything I can do? latency hovers around 38.5 ms
I have looked online and even on these forums and I am surprised there is not much info from shadow.tech about this. Ubuntu is on their downloads and they make it seem like it’s just running the script but that doesn’t do anything. Has anyone gotten this to work on their laptop ubuntu? Intel.
I am Irritated, and done with Shadow this packet loss thing has gone way to far and I know it is not my internet I’ve been paying for the service for months to not even get the best and optimal performance just terrible im so fed up with shadow at this point legit my only option to a gaming pc, Once again im paying for the service that is not working properly Like what am i suppoed to do now All the money I payed for the months I’ve had this issue is gone, not even compensation for the ammount of months I’ve had this Issue.
I’m using my Shadow for wireless VR with my Quest through VirtualDesktop. I’ve tried official clients, different operating systems, and even starting Shadow from my phone. Every time, and in all circumstances the same happens: I start my shadow make sure virtualdesktop streamer is running go into my Quest, start VD there Connect to my Shadow Play a VR game after 25 minutes I hear a “Hey I found some new hardware”-chime, and my SteamVR session locks up.Now, the Shadow instance is still running. I can kill SteamVR, and the shadow will still be running happily, so keeping the Shadow alive with VirtualDesktop works like a charm, but why does the SteamVR session suddenly get an aneurysm and choke? I don’t think it’s the automatic shutdown, since my VM is still alive and kicking, but somehow something triggers my virtual VR session to hickup, sending it into oblivion.Any clues? Thanks in advance,Emiel
I purchased RDR2 today and have download things off of the Rockstar site to get it working and in turn has stopped the shadow from streaming to me, what do I do now? When I launch the shadow it gets to the waiting for stream and doesn't get past it, if I click start now I just get a small screen that I cant do anything on, seems to be frozen.
Hello World,Unfortunately, the suggested solution in the thread: “xbox game pass wont download games” doesn’t work for me. My “D” is as physical, separate harddrive because I ordered a storage extension for my Shadow Boost. The MS Flight Sim needs about 130 GB of free storage space. Even if I delete all games on the “C”, I would not get enough space to install MSFS. Is there any solution for my configuratioof Shadow? Thanks for your help in advance :)
Bonjour. Merci bien.
I updated my Shadow toWindows build 2004, and it resurfaced the infamous CryEngine bug where the entire Crysis trilogy will arbitrarily lock to 65 FPS and introduce significant stuttering. The new Quadro ODE driver (R450U2) should solve this, as it adds compatibility for the new Windows update, but I wanted to see how long it typically takes Shadow to approve the new GPU drivers, before I pull the trigger and update manually. Thanks!
Title says it all. This happened a few times before, i'm using 5ghz wifi and have a wifi booster that's connected with ethernet cable 2 feet from me.My connection speed is 250mb down, 30mb up and i achieve that easily through speedtests. My laptop sadly doesnt have a ethernet port, it's a Asus Vivobook E200HA with Atom X5-Z8350, 4GB DDR3L RAM, Intel HD 400.I already enabled low config mode and tried lower bandwidth.
I’m using a Dualshock 4 V2 controller on my Mac which is using the latest Developer Beta of Big Sur. My controller is coming up in Shadow settings under controller connected via the included usb but when I come to play Star Wars Battlefront ll in Origin no input is detected.
Hey Guys, I’m a little bummed because I think I might have made a mistake. I purchased the mini pc in the Amazon link below. I had looked at a few, and this one was priced where I thought it would have enough power to run shadow. I mean, my Windows Surface Pro runs it FINE and that was $500, so why shouldn’t a $325 mini PC that doesn’t come with a screen or anything NOT work. That was my mind set. Unfortunately, I’m not a PC hardware guy and I just don’t know what I’m looking at. https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B08CBFY819/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_asin_title_o03_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1 So, It's connected to my 150/mbps internet via ethernet cable. I minimized all backround processes as possible and ran Shadow. The good news it s that it runs. The bad news is that the amount of lag pretty much make it unplayable. It’s probably half a second to a full second of lag. I've tried changing all the shadow settings different ways to see if there was a magic spot where it would work, but there's always
HiI have a wireless keyboard and mouse (Microsoft Wireless 900), with the dongled placed in the Ghost. When I plug in the memory stick the mouse stops working and the keyboard becomes less responsive.I have tried switching the USB ports I am using, a different memory stick, a different wireless keyboard and mouse (Logitech) for my wife PC. Same results everytime. So right now the Ghost is pretty useless for work as I have stuff on a memory stick which I constantly use but can operate the PC when I plug it in - any thoughts anyone?Thank you
Hello, I’m hoping to set up my Logitech G Pro Wireless mouse to work with USB forwarding. I have installed the newest Beta launcher and when trying to install drivers for USB peripherals my Mac is coming up with an error stating: “USB Network Gate Daemon crashed” and the options to “Disable Daemon” or to “Relaunch”. When I click relaunch it pops up again. Eventually after a few tries of clicking “Relaunch” the launcher stops trying to install drivers, and leaves the USB peripherals option set to the “Install Drivers” button. I tried to Disable Daemon, and I was able to install the drivers, but my mouse does not show up as one of the USB peripherals within my Shadow PC. I have tried to set it up both with the USB dongle for the mouse as well as plugged in directly with the Micro USB hardwired option.

The icon is not there and nothing shows when I use the win+alt+O shortcut. win+alt+F works for fullscreen so the shortcuts are working and occasionally on going in or out of fullscreen I can see the quick menu for a split second. It also doesn’t auto detect resolutions when I move it from my external monitor to my laptop screen (which it used to).I have made sure the Low -End option is unchecked and the same for safe mode. Any ideas will be grateful as it is a very important feature for me to see what the stats say and tailor my connection (as I am on a pretty rubbish internet connection unfortunately!).I have the same version of the app (Launcher v4.15.9 C
I just got some new hardware, and I am trying to uninstall and reinstall drivers so that shadow recognizes the new hardware. I’ve shut down the shadow, but when i click the uninstall drivers button, it pulls up a loading wheel and says to restart after it’s done, but then nothing happens and it goes back to where i can click on uninstall drivers again. I can’t get the drivers to actually uninstall so that i can reinstall them.

On newest version of MacOS, newest version of shadow client for mac. After forwarding astro a40 mixamp using USB over IP, the playback is unusable for listening. If you can hear anything at all it just sputters. It seems audio recording is fine because when recording and played back later not using the USB over IP it’s listenable. I am wired and here are my speeds https://www.speedtest.net/result/9882712433. Please help me get my headset working
I recently got my shadow and am currently trying to play CSGO for the first time. Every time I join a game, I immediately start looking down at the ground and cannot look up no matter what I do, even though I can spin around. I have tried restarting shadow, as well as using a different mouse but the issue persists. Has anyone else had this issue or have any idea how to fix it? Thank you!
