Hey all, consumer here. Recently my Razer Kraken X headphones came in the mail that I ordered yesterday (knew razer was fast but not this fast). Unknown to me purchase of this headset came with a code that would give me a copy of Razers Surround Sound software for free! Installing the software and changing my audio device to the 7.1 surround playback device I was instructed to caused me to hear no sound unless i switched my playback device back to my default Nvidia device. Even more odd is the fact that on my Local PC, the software works with zero hitches and produces audio just fine. Fixing the audio issue is easy. Like I said i just have to switch back to the nvidia playback device. But is there any way to get this Razer surround software to actually produce audio?
Hi, I am still waiting for my Shadow to be activated and I am trying to get everything set up before it does. Okay here is my situation, I have two devices that could run shadow, a 5 year old PC with a dual core CPU and a Samsung Galaxy S7. I would preferably like to run it on my PC but my circumstances requires a wifi connection and my PC only supports 2.4Ghz. I would be fine with running it on my phone but the lack of USB connections worries me, so I was wondering, would it be possible to use a usb hub for my phone to connect a mouse, keyboard, webcam, and headset? I’m not sure how shadow handles USB connections on its app so that’s why I’m asking here. Thanks.
Hi, I’m using shadow stable on Linux and although the OS recognizes the controller, when I connect to shadow it doesn’t recognize it. I’m not sure if there’s something I’m not doing right or it should work. It’s a generic WiFi controller connected to the pc through a WiFi dongle. As I said on Linux works but not on shadow. Thanks
Does anyone else notice shadows YouTube performance in frame rates blur or drop? watch a video on YouTube using shadow and pay attention to head movement or hand movement. There is a slight blurriness or reduced frame rates to it. This only happens on shadow. it happens regardless of yt video quality and regardless of allocated bandwidth setting. its not my internet. I’m testing at 450Mbps. I did a comparison with my iPads (iPad Air 2019) Youtube performance with the same videos and definitely notice a difference. its watchable but noticeable at times.
As the title says I can’t access my shadow due to it being unavailable or a maintenance which isn’t till tomorrow 17th June. Before my shadow was loading up automatic repair and an error related to system 32 then it stopped and choose your keyboard layout was appearing. all the problems above started after a disruption on the Paris dc 14th June I reset my shadow and waited for a couple of hours for it to say it’s unavailable or an ongoing maintenance. I have contacted support and haven’t gotten a reply.
If youre on Mac running Catalina and are using an external mouse and when in locked mode the mouse doesnt want to move in Shadow try: Go to system preferences, click security & privacy, and check "AEServer" while adding the Shadow app to both Accessibility and Input Monitoring. This helped users before, and I hope it helps you too!
Hi All, I have additional storage on my Shadow with all of my games on it, except xbox game pass games because I don’t like all of the extra files and folders it creates. I want to partition my D drive into two, so that one will be just for game pass and the other for everything else. Is this allowed, and can it cause any issues?
For two days I have received the message Your shadow is not aviable at the moment. Thus preventing me from logging in and enjoying it as I have done these days ago. I have tried the beta launcher and the mobile app and the same thing happens. When contacting support I get no response. What can i do to regain access to my shadow pc?
Hi, This morning i received an email about my Shadow being ready for use. So i start shadow, it tests my latency and ping etc etc. Everything is fine. It start updating and at 100% he said ‘restarting shadow...’ but after 1h, it was still ‘restarting shadow...’. So i closed the shadow app, start shadow again and now im stuck on this screen for like 30 minutes and it wont change. (cant start shadow either) Is there a solution at my side i can do or is there a ‘problem’ at your side Shadow? Kind regards, Niels
whenever i play anything i can move my mouse in any direction but when i comes to playing call of duty modern warfare and i get into a multiplayer match i cannot move my mouse up or down. although when i’m in the menu screen it allows me to move it in any direction even though i have input monitoring on and my mouse is always locked when i play games. Is this a problem with call of duty itself or is it a problem with shadow?
Every time I boot up Shadow my mouse is really slow. I can adjust it in the mouse settings - and its fine afterwards for the session - but when I close Shadow and log back on at a later time my mouse is really slow again. A small nuisance really, but I wonder why the adjusted mouse speed isn’t remembered by Shadow? Am I missing an easy fix or is this a known issue?
This question may seem a bit off topic on this forum but it has been really bugging me. Does anyone know how I add more rows on an Excel Template. I gives you like 10 pre configured rows but I need more, I have tried searching the interent but found nothing on how to do it. Any sort of help would be much appriciated. Hello I’m new to shadow had it about 5 days love it i am running on 2500k 970 graphics card 8 mb ram internet is about 76mb and a ping of about 18 when turning in games the screen distorts in different areas is this normal do I need to upgrade processor or graphics card or have I got a setting wrong any help would be great thanks
hi I have a issue with the xbox game pass it wont let me download any games because it says there is a issue with the storage device I have used the game pass on shadow since I joined with no issues until now the error code is Code: 0x80073D13 I have followed all Microsoft’s advice on there website for fixing the issue but nothing seems to work is anyone else having this is
Application type Mac Shadow Client Version Official Local device CPU i7 quad-core Local device GPU Intel HD Graphics 530 & AMD Radeon Pro 450 Datacenter location Amsterdam Connection speed 1000/100 Description of issue I'm using a 2560x1440 monitor and when using Window mode, all is fine but when I switch to full screen, the screen gets blurry and you see bigger pixels with especially red colored icons.
So I’ve been using for about 2 or 3 days now and so far its been great.. until my mouse had insane latency in games. When I load up the launcher and start a game its fine but during that same game it will randomly increase in latency which I am very sensitive to. I can fix that latency by pressing windows key twice, restarting the stream, and unplugging and replugging in the mouse. The games I notice this in and the only games I do play on shadow are GTAV and Warzone. I do know it is not a problem with my connection as it is 110mb/s and I do not think it is my mouse as it is completely fine in every other scenario (even though it is a cheap offbrand wireless mouse...) Please help me with this problem!
OK So this only started happening about a week ago - I start Shadow and the latency is about 50 - after a minute or so it jumps to over 4000 - I restart the streaming and it goes down to about 50 again for a little while and then back up to over 4000 - I have tried restarting my router and PC - nothing helps - I am on wireless but the 5g band and I have about 150 Mmbps connection which I do not have issues with on my local pc - I am using a 30mbps setting for shadow and I am using prefer reliability setting in the optimize streaming category on the shadow client - any advice would be appreciated
Every time I go to play on my Shadow there appears to be a small child in front of it. Here am I desperately wanting to slaughter monsters and explore new landscapes in the Witcher 3 or just blow the s**t out of everything in Just Cause, but instead what is on the screen is Roblox with the small child demanding that I pay for more Robux. Even if I do get on the Shadow with them then I'm forced to Lego Harry Potter or Lego Batman. Please help. Roblox looks beautiful on the Shadow but I'm sure it's capable of more than this.
