So, I fly tiny whoops in Velocidrone and my laptop has a hard time with the complex scenery and I get lag. So, I figured Shadow would be perfect for this because I have great internet. I installed Velocidrone on Shadow, launched it, and connected my controller (An FrSky X-Lite with a USB receiver dongle). When I fly, my controller responds ok, but what I see is like really slow stop animation, it’s not a smooth picture. I don’t know what the problem is because when I installed Shadow, it said my internet was perfect and I know that to be true, so is there another problem I’m missing? I’m not sure what to do.
Right, here goes, I joined the world off shadow about a year and a half ago, I waited for the memory upgrade and was fortunate to succeed with the most recent allocation, trouble is I don't think I have received it! I am a complete numpty where computers are concerned and having tried the restart Windows etc, I fear I have failed.. Can someone please tell me a number I should look for to check and compare, I believe I'm paying for an extra 500gb on top of initial allocation of 250? When on steam, i can still only download 3 or 4 games, does this sound about right. My games are world of warships, uboat, fm15 and a random cheap golf game, any help greatly appreciated.
Hello, I have two Thrust Master 16000M joysticks connected to my PC and the Shadow sees them as xbox controllers. I have the updated drivers for them installed. They used to work before and could be properly configured when we had the option to “mount” USB devices and now they no longer register properly and they cant be configured. Please help it’s been months and my emails to tech support basically told me to wait for the next version.
Hey everyone and welcome to the forums! I have been a shadow user since late December 2019 and always stuck to mostly using the mobile service as it operates latency free off of my 4g LTE. Besides, a mobile pc is the best pc 😎. So after over a half year of using shadow I still have yet to figure out a way to get my microphone to work on android without using weird work arounds like 2 separate discord accounts.(this mutes the audio from shadow whenever on a call so it makes your gameplay sound silent which is unbearable plus you hear yourself speaking >_<) If anyone knows of a way to get this working or if the devs are currently implementing some sort of microphone support someone please let me know. I've already recommended shadow to a large part of my audience and discord and we have quite a few people now shadow users in my community, but the question or complaint everyone seems to have is that there is no mic support on android phones. Hey guys, I have purchased a game from uplay store and when I logged in to shadow I didn't see it in my order history!! It turned out that uplay has a separate store for each country. And as you know shadow moves you to a different server each day. Which means you can't download and play any game you purchase on uplay as it wouldn't be available on shadow when you login to your account. If anyone has a similar or different experience please let me know
i have been activated on shadow boost finally. i am experiencing packet loss however i have a network monitor and it is showing no packet loss on my network however shadow is saying there is packet loss. i am running a a pc with a dual core cpu j1800 with an intel hd 4000 4gb ram i am using ethernet connection my shadow auto bandwidth says i should use 50mbps i tried everything bellow and still packet loss i have 80mbps download and 20 mbps upload speed package.
So at the start of covid issues there was a automatic shutdown instigated if the machine “Thought” it hadnt been used for 30 minutes. Only it was being used and still shut down, if i wan to leave something running then i cant. If i pay for your service why do i keep getting cut off even when my machine is technically in use? can i have longer maybe 2 hours rather than this and detection of login and running process maybe.

If you have this issue it is due to a Windows 10 issue. Here is how you fix it. Uninstall Shadow Download and install CCleaner (Free version: https://www.ccleaner.com/) Run CCleaner and run an "Easy Scan" and cleanup Go to the your %appdata% folder (Windows search '%appdata') and delete all 'Shadow'-related folders Delete the folder C://Users/username/.shadow Restart your computer Download and install Shadow again at https://account.shadow.tech/apps If this still fails follow these steps: Shut down your Computer Unplug power to your router Unplug power to your cable/DSL modem and wait 15 seconds Restart your modem and wait for all lights to return Restart your router and wait for all lights to return Start your computer again and connect to your Shadow to see if the issue persists. If this still fails go to your Shadow launcher settings, click send logs and send them to shadow support.
Your USB over IP was working fine before but suddenly stopped and when you try to select a device it doesnt want to select? Well try this below, it has helped other people and may help you! In the Launcher, go to the Settings (little cog icon) and go to USB Peripherals and uncheck it and let it uninstall the drivers Restart your computer that is running Shadow. Go back to the Launcher, Settings and go to the USB Peripherals and check it again and let it install the drivers again, then go back to Shadow and try to select your device again. This Error is when the appdata and other files in the shadow program have been corupted. This is how you fix it! Uninstall Shadow Go to the your %appdata% folder (Windows search '%appdata%') and delete all 'Shadow'-related folders Delete the folder C://Users/username/.shadow Restart your computer Download and install Shadow again at https://account.shadow.tech/apps (choose Applications on the left) Upon launch if you have USB drivers from shadow installed be sure to uninstall and then reinstall to get them working.
Microsoft has discontinued windows 7 support in 2020 and as a consequence shadow has dropped windows 7 support. So to regain access to shadow on your PC you need to upgrade to to the latest windows version. Intel’s Puma 6 chipset is defective (hardware defect) creating network latency spikes and Network jitter. This is caused by the puma getting overloaded by shadows consistant data stream and running a high priority maintinance tread to clear the processor. If you have one of these Intel Puma Modems please replace immediately. Your internet will thank you!

Welcome to the one stop shop for all your resolution questions. Shadow is a live stream, unlike that of Netflix and Hulu which can buffer, and thus streaming greatly depends on the strength of your internet connection. The stream quality also depends on how much bandwidth you have allocated to Shadow. We recommend setting your allocated bandwidth at 10 to 15 Mb/s lower than your highest download speed. By having a stable connection, you will experience less lag and stutter. If you ever notice that your mouse is behaving oddly in-game (i.e., the camera spins around, your viewing angle points up or down, or you can’t control it properly), please use our Mouse Modes (unlocked or locked) within Shadow. You can cycle through these modes via the shortcut Alt + Windows + M (Windows) / Command + Option + M (MacOS). Please note that this is only available for our desktop apps. If you are on macOS Catalina or higher, please try allowing Shadow to monitor inputs on your Mac. This setting can be added through your Mac's Security and Privacy page.
