Shadow upgrade Early Access. unable to subscribe and use app( G-403 error) 2 days+😓
Unable subscribe and pay for the early access power upgrade. I was moved to the new website but it shows I only have the normal sub with a weird dev line next to it. Also I cannot log into the app getting an error g-403. Its been 2 days. is this expected while migration is happening ?
no internet on Shadow
Hey everyone, my first post here. I log in on Shadow and when I am on it, it says I have no internet. In the settings although it says there is a connection and my proxy is (still) off.(I read somewhere on Reddit that this could be the cause)Can someone help me with this? It is pretty frustrating that 5min ago I was online and now it is not working and nowhere can I see, why.Is their internet down?
Cant sign in to support site to check my tickets??????
So while this was working all day yesterday .. Starting around 9pm i went to check my ticket and as normally it says i am logged in as than click continue to shadow help center than on next page it says You are logged out?????? Than it worked around 10pm let me logged in so i can reply to the support. I woke up a hour ago 8am and its doing it again... So i cant even reply to support unless i do it in email????? I can log in to my account and log into shadow tho. But yea this isn't on my end cause i tried it on 3 computers including shadow and i get the same log out message… I even tried to log on to support with my phone and tablet it does the same log out message on the next page….
Login through browser not working
I´m using shadow on my windows 10 laptop. Everything has been fine for the 10+ months that I´m using shadow now. When I tried opening the launcher this week, it requested that I should login using my browser. However, when clicking on the corresponding button nothing happened. My default browser is Chrome, but it also didnt work with any other browser. I tried a few thing I found online (date & time settings, firewall, incognito mode) but nothing helped. I even tried to reset my PC (planned to do that anyways). But still, the browser login doesnt work.Is there anything else I could try? This is unfortunately a very annoying situation, as I've been paying for a service I can't use for almost a week now. However, without having backed up my data, I don't want to cancel my subscription either. I have already contacted customer service, but unfortunately they have not been able to help me yet.Thanks for your help!
For Anyone Having Issues Using Shadow on an iPhone
For a while I was unable to connect to my Shadow via my iPhone. While this is still an ongoing issue, a work around that allows me to access my Shadow from my iPhone is to start the app but not connect. Instead I hit the gear icon to get into the settings and scroll down and click "Display Safe Mode". This seems to allow the app to connect properly. I am not sure what the cause of the issue is with the iOS app, but this seems to be an effective work around. Hopefully the Shadow devs can figure out the cause so using safe mode isn’t necessary.
legacy customers should use initial interface
hello im an old shadow member and have been inactive for a few months and now i wanna reorder my shadow so i clicked the "preorder" button whatever that means and then i filled out the inforomation and logged inand then an error message saying legacy customers should use our initial interface and the i clicked continue and logged in to the legacy site and then it threw me to the account page and then i said "preorder" again and the same thing happened please help
Controller issues on android tv
I am using Shadow on an Android TV.I use latest Shadow OFFICIAL version 3.12.1. Controller is recognized by the TV and Shadow Launcher. However when starting a game in Shadow it cannot be used, no matter which game I try. Android even asks me if I allow Shadow to use it, and I allow it. Any tip would be appreciated.
Hi,I just got Shadow and it worked perfectly fine at first, then out of nowhere I get a black screen when I log in. I can tell I am in the computer because I can request the task manager when I hit Ctrl Alt Del, but otherwise it’s all black and I can see the cursor. I couldn’t reach out anyone while I think just a chat box would be so useful for first time users as the product reliability is extremely important and it seems it could be so easily fixable, the Nvidia control panel seemed broken, I am not sure.Please help me, maybe give me another computer / partition so I can use this before it becomes useless. Thank you !
Overnight FPS has dropped to 7fps doing simplest of tasks.
Last night, playing Civ VI was fine. This morning I noticed the game crashed three times. When I got into eh Quick Menu, I notice that the client is running at 7-9fps just on the game menu. Trying to quit the game causes it to freeze for about 10 seconds, then go into a not responding state. I saw briefly that the CPU was stuck at 100%Recently I see that the GFX car has changed from a 1080, to a Quadro. Which I thought was generally for design, rather than gaming.The feeling that Shadow’s machines are lagging behind in what is considered a gaming machine. The only thing that makes these mahcines technically “Gaming” is the gfx card. Now it seems I’m (trying to) play games on a CAD PC.EDIT: fps in windows is 3fps.
Shadow doesn't start 4 hours
Subscribed 4 hours ago, windows 10, 64-bit. Subscription ative. I used shadow before, worked great.Now I can't start Shadow from the Windows app.I got Error Code: G-403, for 3 hours. And now I get Error Code: G-429 aswell. This happens when I click “Start Again” or when I simply open/launch the Shadow app. Tried reinstalling. Nothing seems to work. "You can't acces your Shadow for nowPlease try to start again and check your account status on our website if the issue remains.Error code: G-403 | Visit Help Center" and "An unknown issue happenedRestart the app if the issue remains.Error code: G-429 | Visit Help Center" Anyone can help or know what this might mean? Or what might be the cause. Or solution. Thank you.
Size of icons on the desktop
Hello, I use Shadow on several devices with different resolutions which appears to cause issues with the size of individual square of the grid on the desktop. This makes icons take half the screen and complete mess up the desktop. Only two icons can been seen and the other stack behind each other.This problem is pretty recent, do you experienced it too ? Do you have a solution for it ?Thanks in advance.
HELP? Macbook Pro can't connect to ShadowPC
I bought this about 2 hours ago. I have not been able to get connected to the ShadowPC. I got the email it was ready. I followed all prompts. When I log in with browser, I complete this process but when it sends me back to the app nothing happens with the launcher.
My shadow turns off anytime I close the software
So, I’m a blender guy and I use this like a render farm so I can continue to work on stuff. But when I close Shadow, everything turns off and my renders cannot continue. How do I keep shadow running so I can get these renders out. For extra context, I have the setting where you Shadow turns off everytime you close the app off. And I have the actual sleep settings set to never. Would appreciate any feedback, thank you for your time.

Audio stuttering on only one notebook
I am experiencing a pretty bad audio stuttering on only one of my devices that are connected to the same network at home. So it is pointing me in the direction that it is not network related but something with the computer. What makes it more weird is the fact that it happens on my best/strongest notebook, on other notebook and on android devices there is almost no audio stuttering. I would really appreciate some ideas what I could try.I already tried changing allowed network bandwidth (from 5 - 70 MBps). I have 1000/100 Mbit line.I also tried turning on/off high quality audio, h.265 codec and using beta shadow client. None of that made any significant difference. Any additional ideas maybe?
USB wheel not forwarded
Hi I just installed shadow on my mac M1. I have enabled usb forwarding, and when connecting my logitech g25 racing wheel, it detects this, however, it doesnt allow me to tick the box for forwarding. My latency is low, connection speed is good, so everything looks good This is my very first time with shadow so i might be doing something wrong. Can somebody advise please?Thanks
