I currently use WindowBlinds and Start10 on my local PC and I am wondering if it’s ok to use them on my Shadow. I can make do without them but I find them aesthetically pleasing. I am unsure how they do what they do and don’t want to put my account at risk by inadvertently violating the terms of service.

Does anyone know if it’s ok to use those programs? Thanks in advance!

And they dont do anything that violates the ToS? That’s my concern cause I love my Shadow and don’t wanna put my account at risk >_>

As long as they dont modify the Registry and only adjust cosmetics I don’t see the harm. But if you want a official ruling contact shadow support directly. -Gelgoog

Just so anyone else who may like to use WindowBlinds can see, I sent a ticket to Shadow support and they replied with:

Thank you for reaching out to Shadow Support!

At this time, you should be able to use WindowBlinds and Start10 on your Shadow. However, we recommend that you factory reset your Shadow if you run into any Start issues.

In the meantime, we appreciate your message and will share it with the team as we are always continuing to improve shadow and our services.

So word on high says WindowBlinds and Start10 are allowed.:grinning:
