Microphone Buggy

I recently got my Shadow, and I was excited to finally play games and talk to my friends at the same time. I set up my microphone, turn on the setting, and nothing happens. I switch my mic to the external Shadow microphone option, and I still get no audio from my microphone. I decide to forward the USB to the Shadow, and it works. But, sometimes the microphone CUTS OUT COMPLETELY, and I must go back to the Discord tab, and re-enable the microphone. I’ve tried to fix this with voice changers, and the microphone STILL cuts out randomly. I’ve tried everything, and I don’t know what to do. Can someone please help me?

Uninstall any and all voice changers on Shadow and dont use usb forwarding for your mic. Can you also show me what the recordings tab of Shadow shows?

All voice changers have been uninstalled. I’ve stopped using USB Forwarding. My Bumble Bee microphone appears in the microphone section. I turn it on. I go to the sound control panel, go to recording, and the External Microphone stays at the same 5 bars shown in the picture at all times. It does not change no matter what I do to my microphone.

Hi Rshiba, your sound volume won’t actually move within the Windows settings and that’s completely normal.  If you’re still experiencing this issue, I’d recommend using a voice recorder to test so you can play it back.
