Question

Mouse don't move on Mac because of the border issue

I recently found one issue related to the cursor/mouse capture in the Mac shadow client. When I am playing the game, I found sometimes when I am holding the left key on the mouse, I can not move at all and even can’t press keys on the keyboard. And the reason I found on my several Macs is, in the cursor locked mode, when my cursor is touching the window borader (even in the full screen mode), the cursor will naturally change to the resizing mouse, and if I press, hold the left click right now and then move, whole keys will be stuck and cannot move. I tried to contact the support team, but they said they don’t have such issue. So I post here to see whether you guys met the same issue and have any solutions.

(Have tried disable the trackpad, enable AEserver, they both don’t work)

Which mac os are you running? And why AEserver, I can’t recall that Shadow’s mac client requires it. Which mac, external mouse & keyboard?

in other words you’d need to provide the information so another person can reproduce the behavior you are experiencing.

AEserver is one solution found on the forum.

Catalina, 2019 Macbook Pro 15inch, Several Gaming Mouses & Keyboard. I have tried most famous gaming accessories, and I do believe it is not related to the hardware.

Razer Deathadder Elite + Varmilo Miya68, USB3 and Hub
And trust me, it is not related to the keyboard, it is just the mice border capture problem.

Did you ever get a fix to this? Mine recently started doing the same thing and I’ve had Shadow for over a year now. I havea MBP 13 inch late 2013. the only thing that has changed since it started doing this is that I now run an external monitor…
