Mouse Scroll Wheel In Steam

I have a Logitech G502 Hero mouse that, up until a couple of weeks ago was working just fine on my Shadow instance. More recently, I’ve noticed that the scroll wheel doesn’t appear to be working inside of any Steam games. Just to be clear, it works fine in the Steam client, inside of other, (non-Steam), games, and all throughout Windows -- but inside of Steam games the scroll wheel just doesn’t appear to be properly detected.

I realize that this could be an issue with Steam rather than with Shadow, but since using Shadow presents a kind of unique wrinkle into the whole set up, I thought I’d check here first to see if anyone else has run in to this.

That is indeed an interesting issue. I personally haven’t heard of anyone experiencing this. Can you try changing the Streaming Preferences options from "prefer speed" to "prefer reliability" or vice versa?

 

Should that not work, please go ahead and submit a ticket to our Support Team from your account page so they can look into this further.

I have a similar issue happening in the battle.net Client and World of Warcraft. The issue also happens in the GeForce Experience Client.

Outside of that, within the Windows Menu or Windows Settings, scrolling works fine.

 

I'm using the beta Shadow Client on the current iPadOS, using an external Monitor.

 

Funny detail I noticed while writing this: Though the mouse is captured by the shadow (with the issues above), while having the Shadow App Settings open on the iPad the scrolling registers there too despite the mouse not visible/usable there. So maybe it is not captured "completely", lacking a better word?

I have the same issue with Steam using the Shadow app on a smart TV. 

I can temporarily fix it by going back to Shadow screen and connecting again to the Shadow PC but the scrolling wheel will stop working after couples of minutes.
