Hey all, consumer here. Recently my Razer Kraken X headphones came in the mail that I ordered yesterday (knew razer was fast but not this fast). Unknown to me purchase of this headset came with a code that would give me a copy of Razers Surround Sound software for free! Installing the software and changing my audio device to the 7.1 surround playback device I was instructed to caused me to hear no sound unless i switched my playback device back to my default Nvidia device. Even more odd is the fact that on my Local PC, the software works with zero hitches and produces audio just fine.
Fixing the audio issue is easy. Like I said i just have to switch back to the nvidia playback device. But is there any way to get this Razer surround software to actually produce audio?
