Screen freezes or almost freezes

Playing Destiny 2, I would enter an area of possible high activity and the screen would freeze or almost freeze, which is something that hasn’t happened to me using Shadow. Over a year ago, this would happen in the beta stage of GeForce Now, especially when there was high activity. It no longer does. After this happened in Shadow (it has happened twice), I switched to Nvidia GeForce Now (I have the Founder’s edition), and continued the same activity with no problems. I believe this could be a problem since I am paying almost ten times the amount monthly with Shadow.

I just wanted to add that I have an ethernet connection (not wi-fi) with my iMac 21.5” 4K Retina. So wi-fi is not an issue. I have tried to lower the connection to which solves it for a while, but I notice when re-entering Shadow, it is back up to the higher limit.

Hello

This is something out of shadow control. There’s so many routing possibilities from Shadow’s datacenter to Destiny’s servers. Hascrack left a great post talking about this, I’ll quote some of it here as well as the original post.

There is many different internet routes between your home  router and the shadow datacenter and any ISP's network that connection passes over can have issues. While there is occasionally networking issues on Shadow's side, in most cases it is caused  by automatically controlled routing adjustments made by different ISP's peering that Blade can not control.
