Shadow Boost states the processor should be up to 3.4 GHZ (clearly with Turbo Boost and not base clock).

However, if I open Geekbench 5 in Shadow, it is a 2.5 GHZ that Turbo Boost only up to 3.0GHZ.

Are some servers only turbo boost up to 3.0GHZ despite the advertisements for 3.4?

We’ve noticed that some applications weren’t able to clock the actual speed of the CPU though I’ve seen some forum posts with suggestions for applications that can clock them accurately.

Just for further information if anyone else comes across this and doesn’t understand turbo-boosting, this means at the normal operating frequency of the processor will be under 2.5GHz, but when you use heavy apps or do multitasking the processor can increase the frequency up to 3.4 GHz.

Turbo boost is a feature that monitors the present processor usage to determine how close the processor is to the maximum usage. Processor consumption is done as per usage.  This is done to save battery and enhance usage-based performance.
