i can't find a way to activate my local desktop`s 3 screens(Eyefinity style) on the shadow desktop. it only finds 1, maybe because i am using AMD gpu. i feel that if i use my Dell WD19 Docking Station, it should work. but renders my local machine. i am struggling to get used to one screen and the other 2 on the left and right hand side are black screened.
is there a fix for this yet please.

Shadow doesn’t support multiple monitors, just multiple machines running it at once. There is a workaround which, albeit buggy, works fine. It’s a program called Spacedesk. I use it to check twitch chat but I would highly recommend using your main shadow stream for games and desktop work.

cheers for that tip, ill look into it. i truly hope shadow assists us with this feature, or at least allow us to view the other 2 screens( outlook for emails) or chat site/video play…

Shadow dual screen is currently in alpha and will be coming soon if you just can't wait you can get the alpha build but its extremely dangerous and could destroy your shadow
From what has been told about multiple displays alpha does support it but if you run into a issue with your shadow support cant do much to help you so its a use at your own risk
That be nice, buts ok when your mouse unlocked in shadow you can just hower to next screen and will take you to your computer window

interesting stuff, if i could at least play a game in windowed mode on one screen would be helpful, but in order to play i need to go full screen, leaving me with two black screens on either side. as for the dual screen alpha release, i don't know how that will work when going full screen on games with a monitor border down the middle. unless i am able to choose a primary screen for the game and split other for different tasks.

I’ve always thought that it was a little annoying for Shadow to not have a local dual monitor support, however I don’t mind it, I stream games in VR while using Shadow so it’s nice to have the game on my main PC while I’m playing behind it, there are some weird times where I’ll need to check OBS or change a scene so I can just flip up my headset and look at my MacBook which I had conveniently set up in front of me on the Alpha version of Shadow. I use the Alpha version of Shadow as my daily driver, however you don’t need to do this. You only need it on one device for second screen, your main monitor can just be Shadow’s Official launcher.
its strange for the shadow GPU to only see one screen could it be the Nvidia Quadro P5000, i know that servers can only support 1 screen, if it were the Nvidia GTX 1080 i would be even more surprised, but then again all we need is to install software that allows the Quadro to sync with my gpu, if it already uses one screen and black screens the other 2. it feels like an easy fix for shadow, unless they want to save on energy consumption!
Might be dumb but you could try Cntrl+Window key+D and create a virtual desktop to drag onto the second screen.
Any news on this feature yet? Great opportunity for Shadow, especially because of pandemic. Plus, virtualization on Macs, at least is coming to an end. Shadow, if you couls support multiple monitors alone, it would be great for mac user switching to new ARM based macs to use as an alternative of development, video editing and other tasks that may require multiple monitor use.

any news on the multiple display feature? I play a lot of Flight Simulator and would love to extent my shadow to 2 displays.

Multiple monitor support would be beneficial for flight simulators and Racing simulators like Iracing are best with 3 monitors so you have peripheral vision.

you know what Three years later and they barely have a fix for this. i use a cintq to work and i cant run my other two monitors if i want digitally paint. willl the new upgrade fix this lag issue?
