I am relativley new to shadow, but what I have seen so far is great. This past week every time I boot up my shadow it will freeze and the session will have to be reset almost every time. Is this just a bug? Or is there something I can do to fix it.

This is abnormal. Is there anything in particular that you are doing when it happens or is it something that happens regardless of what you are doing? If possible try using the beta launcher instead of the stable and see if this helps the situation.

Sounds like packet loss causing input to break. A workaround is to set the client to prefer reliability which should stop that from happening. Ultimately you really want to address the source of the packet loss, most likely WiFi.

Dariisa is right that the most likely culprit here is packet loss, so opening up that stats panel and seeing if packet loss, or I’ve also seen this with a ping spike lately with all the network congestion around the world, can be aligned to when this happens would be the first troubleshooting step.
I will also say from time to time I’ve seen a switch from one version to the other (beta/stable) can help with this stuff.
