Shadow is Off, Start Again

I recently upgrade to Shadow Infinite earlier today and was really enjoying it once it was ready.  However right now I cannot access Shadow for some weird reason and I am stuck on “Connecting to Shadow” and the main dashboard says “Shadow is off, Start Again”. I’ve tried running as admin but it is still stuck.  I don’t know if servers are down or something is up but I just want to know what’s the problem and if anyone else is experiencing the same problem.

By the way this is on PC but I have had issues on my Android TV as well.

I’m just wondering if servers are down and that’s why, I’m using a wired 300 mb/s speed and have had no problems previously connecting to Shadow so I’m wondering if they’re just down.

I have the same problem:(. I Send a ticket but I haven't received a reply yet

I’ve had the same issues since upgrading. I’m doing a factory reset now to see if that helps anything. I’m on the Texas servers BTW.

what is the problem shadow ??? now in the morning I was able to access but since 5 pm I can no longer, I have put a ticket but they do not solve anything, this is cutting me, I need to play cyberpunk damn it.

Same for me currently. Infinite tier in the Texas datacenter.

Guys, I received this email in response to my ticket:

After further investigation, it appears there are some damaged services preventing your Shadow from functioning properly.

 

I've gone ahead and escalated your Shadow to our Data Center Team for further assistance, it may take up to 24-48 hours for them to respond. We’ll be sure to keep you up to date as soon as we hear back from them.

 

Please let us know if you have any other questions or concerns we can assist you with, in the meantime

No not yet. Here’s my response from support…

So it appears that your Shadow is currently undergoing a reset. As this is the case, we have gone ahead and escalated this to our engineering team for further assistance. As soon as they are able to provide us with a response, we will get back to you soon as they are able to further investigate this. 

In the meantime, we appreciate your patience and understanding and will place your ticket on hold to prevent it from closing. Let us know if you have any other questions or concerns we can assist you with.

I have a ticket but no response just yet. I just got infinite and this is the immediate result. I just want to play Cyberpunk.

Ok I tried a gain this morning and they seem to have corrected the problem. This time Shadow spent some time updating and it now seems to be working. I will try again after work to see if this update keeps the issue from persisting.

The same for me, I tried it this morning from 4:00 a.m. to 5:30 a.m. and apparently they have solved the problem, they even updated video drivers (before I had problems with the resolution and attributes and FPS in doom ethernal of the gamepass they have already been solved ) I'll try it now at night.I opened a ticket that I want to stop them from fiddling around, does anyone know how to cancel the ticket ?????

Same here. At around 3 AM Central time my Shadow was working again.

Alright.. CH and TX datacenter had some issues lately.. The only thing you can do is either contacting official support for more information, or just waiting.

I'm having the same problem it started yesterday in the middle of morning gaming at 7am my game froze and nothing would unfreeze it turned off shadow haven't been able to get back on yet on pc or android i keep getting the v-100 but it's not a connection issue on my end

I believe so I know my phone is att my actual wifi I'm not sure I think maybe optimum I can't load up on 4g or wifi on my phone or on my pc I even tried using my friends wifi and nothing changed

 

Same problem currently with Chicago datacenter account.

I’m back to having problems again. It worked great for a few days then it started losing performance. Now I’m back to the “Shadow is Off” again. I’m on Infinite in Texas.

I fixed this by closing my Shadow stream and turning off my Shadow via the client. You have to click on the ‘?’ help icon and you should see the option in the menu that pops up. After you turn it off, wait about 30 minutes before closing the Shadow client. Then, re-open the Shadow client and your Shadow should be back online. This worked for me, I hope it can help somebody else out!
