  • Description of issue

    • Stream gets really blurry/pixelated when there’s a lot of movement on the screen. This is especially noticeable in games which have a lot going on at any one moment such as Battlefield One. I’ve tested this on two monitors, one of them runs at 1920 x 1080 @ 240Hz and the other runs at 2560 x 1440 @ 144Hz. My settings in shadow are the same. My connection within the shadow application always says “Great” and I have set my maximum bit rate to 70Mbit/s. I’ve also tried H.265 encoding, but it seems to make no difference. Everything is clear when standing still. I have the Shadow Infinite subscription.

I’ve noticed this a bit too (I got a 1440p 240hz monitor for myself for Black Friday) and have tested around. Turning off H.265 actually helped in my case. Also, turning off freesync on the monitor helped. After that the blurry jerky stopped, for me.

As always make sure you’re using ethernet and not Wi-Fi.
