The launcher updated around an hour ago, and since then i have not been able to log in to the launcher. When i click log in with browser i type all my information then it redirects me to the launcher but still says log in with browser, and Its the only button i can click. What do i do?

I’m having this same issue. I open the launcher only for it ask me to login thru the browser, then I login thru the browser only to be redirected to the launcher then it loops… like really why am I paying this service fee if I can't access my shadow.🤔
I looked thru the forum and others are having the same issue. 😐

Im having the same issue. I have contacted support and they have so far done nothing.
I’ve tried 3 different browsers, tried beta. Tried restarting. Tried turning anti-virus/firewalls off. Tried running as admin.
Nothing seems to work, just looping the browser login.
Got a new laptop as my last one packed in. Got a cheap one for shadow and can’t use shadow :’(
I have the same issue. This is relatively frustrating. I was gonna game together with a friend, luckily he just cancelled, but still. :(
I uninstalled the launcher, deleted the folder .shadow from users and installed the launcher. It redirected me to the website again, but now it worked!

Tried this twice, Second time restarted computer before installing shadow.
Unfortunately this has not worked for me, still stuck.

Maybe try clearing your cookies and cache in the browser, repeat the other steps and run as admin (I always run as admin). Also make sure that your browser is not blocking the pop ups from shadow.
Same here im having the same problem after the new launcher update.
I can log in and everything is successful until it tell me to press continue or wait for shadow to open but it never does no matter how much time i wait or how many times i press continue it gets stuck on that screen have try reinstall / reboot pc / shut off and on / have clear cookies, cached new browsers/admin/no admin... this new method is bad to be honest.
Yeah I have this same problem as well. When I did manage to get login, got the “Your Shadow is currently unavailable”. Attempted to log in again and headed right back to square 1.
I have been contacted by shadow support and they gave me a little list of potential problems.
- Check that your date and time are properly synced.
- Reset your browser’s permissions or try a different browser.
- Clear your browser’s cache and cookies.
- Start an incognito or private browser session.
As i just got this laptop, my problem was the date and time were not synced. Very simple and easy fix, didn't notice the time was out :(
