Unusually high latency spikes only on my main pc

Lately on my pc when using shadow the latency is so high it’s unplayable. Latency will go up from 60-200ms. I tried using my dad’s pc and it was perfectly fine (15-20 ms). Why is this happening? It’s been happening to me ever since 5/22.

I know maybe its a stupid question but you are connected via ethernet on both pc’s?

If you are using Wifi, maybe your Dads PC uses 5GHz Bandwith meanwhile your PC is using 2,4GHz?

Are you running background tasks or Twitch streams that maybe could inpact your experience?

Both of use are connected via ethernet. I always turn off any background apps. It’s weird because it was erfect before the 22nd and now it’s unplayable on my pc. Also I am a Californian user and there are issues in the Santa Clara servers right now which may be it.

The issues are likely routing and congestion, or the data center that has been flagged as having issues.

Maybe your ethernet cable is broken? Sounds stupid, I know but maybe you try this one of your father? Sometimes its the little things that can have a huge impact.
