I’m trying to play MSFS 2020 on shadow with my rudder peddle and joystick. However I cannot check those boxes as they keep circling. I followed the instructions here. I re-installed the usb driver and restarted the commuputer but the problem still exists. Could anyone please offer me some help?

My OS: Mac Catalina 10.15.7

Thanks in advance!

I’ve experienced similar problems with USB device forwarding using macOS 11.x and the Shadow beta clients, including the devices not even appearing in the forwarding screen, unless they are plugged in locally while the Shadow session is running.

However, even if you can get it to work, the connections may not be stable depending on your network quality/latency. If you run into that, you might consider trying VirtualHere as an alternative for the device forwarding.

Thanks a lot! For VirtualHere, should I download Windows USB Server onto Shadow pc and launch the server there. So I can connect to it directly?

Update:

I contacted the tech support but they didn’t not give me any useful solutions. I re-installed Shadow app but it still does not work. Ah

For VirtualHere, you run the server on the device where the USB devices are connected, so that would be on your Mac. You’d then run the client on your Shadow VM to connect to those devices. It also requires the use of Hamachi/Zero Tier software in order for your Mac and Shadow to see each other for that connectivity. Another option is port-forwarding using a router on your home network (forward the VH ports to your Mac from the router).
