Tried reinstalling the usb drivers? A different client too?

I have tried reinstalling the driver a few times but I can never check the box for any of the options but they all show in USB peripherals tab on the Shadow PC.

Is there different options for Shadow client for macOS?

You can try these options

  • Resetting (factory reset) both your local PC and your Shadow PC
  • Re-installing the Shadow application (make sure to delete temp files)
  • Updating your local PC and your Shadow PC
  • Re-enabling the forward USB devices to Shadow option
  • Re-installing drivers
  • Disabling Low-Connection mode or any setting that might interfere with the USB connections

Is it still an issue for you?

Hi,

I don’t seem to even get any USB options in my client:

I’m on an M1 Mac mini, so perhaps that’s part of the issue since it’s running in Rosetta 2?

Any news on an M1 version yet?

Cheers

Same question

The Problem is macOS Big Sur. Not the M1. We have to Wait. Blade Must Update the USB drivers

Same Issue here

Hope the update soon because for the time being im unable to use any gaming peripherals :(

Bump - no update for Big Sur yet I’m assuming as unable to enable USB devices in Shadow on my Mac.

@SudoPacman @Valkin The USB Forwarding feature is only available for the Alpha and Beta launcher, altho the Beta launcher had some issues with some Macs USB Devices.. If the Beta launcher doesn’t work well for you, you should either wait until a new update is pushed to Beta or use the Alpha launcher (download available on the Shadow Discord, just ask for the Alpha client and you will be instructed. The Alpha launcher is very unstable and is not recommended to use if you don’t know what you are doing.

Thanks Phobos! Alpha launcher did the trick. It still can’t pick up one of my usb headsets but it does for at least one. Thoroughly appreciate the help!

Hi all, for anyone experiencing the issue with USB Peripherals on Big Sur, I provided the correct process and information to solve this problem in another thread:

Please check it out, let me know if I can help you get it resolved in any way.  The directions are pretty straight forward and simple. I also shared this information with shadow and asked that they create a guide to help everyone struggling with this issue.
