I restarted my Shadow and main laptop, relaunched and now I cant open display settings without this message showing, and the settings app wont open at all. Everything else works perfectly fine. How would I be able to fix this?

To fix this, you can try the following;
First - check for windows updates, install them, and restart
if that doesn’t work….
Click Start, and type in the search box “wsreset.exe”
Click it, and press enter - then wait for the command prompt box to disappear (a new Windows Store window will open automatically) -- close it, and see if you can go into your display settings now.
hopefully that fixes it -
if not - check for a restore point back when it was working -
or,
there is another option, create a new user profile… but any game / app not installed for all users, will not be available to the new user.
