So, I’m a little annoyed. My Shadow was completely reset, and all my additional storage is gone. So, I’ve got 255gb of storage and none of my files left. I wasn’t notified of this happening, and Shadow support haven’t responded to my email. Has this happened to anyone else?
Hi there,I’ve tried to loginto my PS Plus subscription several times using Shadow and I continue to get an authentication error. I tried connecting without shadow to my VPN to see if that was somehow the problem and it didn’t work. Has anyone had success with connecting to PS Plus using Shadow or does PS Plus not allow VPNs? Thanks in advance for any help.
Hello,I would like to ask a technical insight over a thing that it doesn’t actually bugs me a lot, but yet I want to know.Basically, when I play some graphically intensive game, like Elite Dangerous, Astroneer, GTA V and so on:1. Bright colors, expecially red/orange always look a bit crippled, kinda like low resolution (pixelated/square-ish)2. Every X seconds (meaning it happens at regular intervals) the frames suddenly become a bit crippled, like they’re running on low quality connection for an half second, then for another x seconds, they look normal. I found that lowering fps to about 41-42fps fixes the thing. It’s not terrible, but after a while you start noticing it because it happens at regular intervals. Is something related to my connection being too low?
MK11 won’t connect to their servers to play online. Have tried on a new steam account a new mk11 purchase. Both my old steam account and new do not work with MK11. I’m pretty sure the MK11 servers are up. Does anybody have any potential fixes or suggestions for this? Any help would be much appreciated
When playing CoD Warzone and Fornite and joining a game, the matchmaking screen say “connecting…” and stall forever. I think it’s a NAT issue. Compared to my local install which connects fine.I’ve changed my Shadow’s DNS to CloudFlare and that didn’t help.Any ideas on how to resolve this?
Starting the latest appimage results in a white block in the center of the screen. Maybe it needs an update?
Shadow needs: Website 2FA login. Everyone has it. Just add a damn 2FA method. Even a scrawny mail with a code would be better than nothing. Even better if phone or authenticator app. 2.Login Permission. On user setting in the website account, it should be asked and confirmed to the owner of the account (via mail could work too) the permission to log in to the windows machine.Which means: I have a Shadow Ghost and 2 PC with shadow on it. If I set the option on, every time the shadow clients turns on and tries to connect to the machine, I should receive a notification like "Device x is trying to connect to shadow, allow?". Not a one time only thing, but always, if I set it in the options 3.Disconnect all devices.I'm hearing people already telling "Change password dude".No, it doesn't work. Change password is fine if you are connecting from a new device on which it will ask you "Log in through the browser" or with qr o device code. But it won't disconnect any already authorized device. If
Hi,Sad to say that I pretty much instantly noticed issues when trying to use the android app on my tablet with keyboard attachment. (S8 Ultra with the official Samsung Keyboard/trackpad cover) The trackpad works but there's no gesture support. Two finger tap for right click, scrolling etc. Using two fingers to scroll only registers as a pinch to zoom. Also no single tap to click meaning having to physically click which feels weird as I haven't had to do this for centuries. I can't use the touch screen to scroll. It just causes everything to highlight. This means I have to wiggle the curser around over the scrollbar and wait for it to pop up and then drag it up and down the page to scroll which obviously isn't ideal. Apparently my device doesn't support tablet mode so haven't been able to try and see if this resolves anything. I also don't believe the system recognises that there's a trackpad being used as there's no setting for trackpad gesture control etc but feel this should be a par
I am using a Logitech Flight Yoke and Rudder to play MSFS. My host system is MacOS 13.0. I initially had the problem that only one of the two were forwarded. This was solved by installing the shadow alpha, see this thread: However, a couple of days ago the USB forwarding driver got updated and since then the USB forwarding behaves as before: Only the first USB peripheral works. The second one still gets recognised by the OP system and also MSFS, but the signals aren’t forwarded.
I saw a recent roadmap/release notes post that says:Gamepad as Mouse: You can now use your controller to direct the mouse cursor using the shortcut L3/LS+Share/Back. Help and Tips will come later in the Quick MenuDoes this mean I can use the ios Shadow app virtual controller on my phone as a mouse as well? And if so, how exactly do I do that? While I know I can use the touch screen, on a phone the screen is quite small, making it hard to select things precisely with my fat fingers :P
