What you need to know for the best experience!
We heard you, #TeamShadow! Thanks to your continued feedback in the past weeks, we are happy to announce mouse & keyboard support on the iOS Shadow TestFlight app in this latest update (3.0.1). Please note, you must have iOS 13.4+ installed on your device and we cannot support games that require the locked cursor feature.Download the iOS app on TestFlight now. Other key updates: PS4 gamepad users couldn't play some games, so we introduced the "Playstation extended compatibility". Simply choose this option in settings and it will work like a charm. The first time you launch Shadow with this new update, you will be asked if you want it to handle your drivers. You can change this at anytime in your settings. Many of you had issues trying to connect to Shadow, this problem has been solved. In the previous release, users encountered bugs or crashes when going from background to foreground. This is now fixed too. Last but not least, some iPad users were stuck with 12 FPS. We also fi

I have been part of the European Discord server since September last year and people often ask me for optimization guides for their games. Recently I have been working together with a couple of other people on figuring out the break points for Microsoft Flight Simulator. These settings won’t massively boost your FPS but it does provide stability for your game client and a better flight experience.Important note:When using Shadow Boost you should be aware that your FPS is bound to the processor and not your fancy P5000 or GTX 1080 that is assigned to your Shadow. The preparation:Go to Options -> General -> GraphicsFirst thing to do is to remove all the current customizations and preset settings from Microsoft by hitting the F12 Key. This will likely take a bit so grab a drink or beverage and await till this process is completely done. The Settings:Display Mode: Full ScreenGlobal Rendering Quality: MediumV-SYNC: OffRender Scaling: 50 (1080P Screens / Most Stable) or 100 (Less Stable
Hi there!i’m using shadow from a week or so and i’ve setted my settings in this waythe result is great on my m1 macbook air, i have a gigabit fiber.Anyway i’m still experiencing some video compression on my image, at a totally acceptable level but i’m wondering if maybe there’s some settings that can give a even more smoother experience.
🤩 My dream setup: Raspberry Pi booting straight to Shadow Power's cloud PC. Any update on a native Raspberry client / OS?
Hi, I’m a long term Shadow user, last year I got super excited when Shadow announced an official roadmap item that aimed to support Raspberry Pi devices.Microsoft also announced recently that they are working on a feature that would let your computer boot straight to their cloud PC. Was wondering where the Shadow team got to as has been extremely quiet on this topic? My dream setup: I’d be keen to use the latest Raspberry Pi to replace my trusty (but aging) Shadow Ghost so I can finally run dual 4k monitors from one single thin client. Raspberry Pi would also enable many folks to lower the barrier to entry for affordable, fanless machines - once you’ve tried fanless pcs there’s no going back. The ability to have a Raspberry Pi OS booting straight to my Shadow (like what I can do on Ghost) would be a slick set-up. Don’t want to faff with booting Raspbian and later on having to load another app - am looking for a seamless / native experience. Could mount the Raspberry Pi behind the mon

I too have a Tizen Samsung smart 4k UHD TV and I mean it's not hard for me to plug in my laptop and just boot shadow and still use my TV specs by putting it in game mode at 60 refresh rate at 1920 1080p fluidly but in the terms of having a " smart " TV, it's app developer community is not popular, tho pretty powerful one, amount of apps for it is pitiful and that compatibility I know is there because there's many apps on the app store just seems that nobody's even tried to develop one that actually does anything remotely. other than watch and or """stream"""" Netflix, Amazon, Disney blah blah. No games, so that being said I think it would be pretty revolutionary for tizen OS to have a shadow OS, which would completely make my huge pretty dumb smart TV a smart gaming pctv all in one without the necessity of my laptop through HDMI
Hi good people, I was wondering if it is my laptop not being right to okay, stream warzone/modern warfare as all my other games okay fine but warzone always seems like it's input lag is a bit high.I have a laptop with celeron n2940 and 4gb of ram.Not ideal I know. But would it be my laptop. Also I have 120gbps down and 12gbps up wire connection.Shadow says warzone is around 30-36ms lag. Also any advice on a setup that would run it better and not break the bank would be appreciated.I will state I did have a £2000 gaming pc setup which I stupidly sold so an expensive setup is out if the question.Cheers.

So I have this issue with my Shadow on Steam Deck. I can get everything loaded and log in using the Ubuntu version since it's Linux based. It loads fine but when the actual video feed from my Shadow shows up it's really red. It looks like infrared from Predator. I've contacted support who advised that other users who have had a similar issue have disabled the rgb10 drivers to make it work. They then gave me a link to a Reddit page ( https://www.reddit.com/r/ShadowPC/comments/tsx9b6/shadow_works_great_on_steam_deck/ ) where someone said basically the same thing. The problem I'm having is there is basically zero explanation on how to actually do this so I need some help with how to actually do this. A step by step would be awesome if anyone knows how. I'm sure this would be helpful to many people who have or will get a Steam Deck.

I’m interested to know what setups you all have to use a webcam with Shadow? For my part I have a 50Mbit down / 8Mbit up home connection. I have a Shadow Ghost and various other devices and laptops that I can run shadow on. Using the straight USB over IP functionality of Shadow is no good as the uncompressed video feed of the webcam (in this case just a simple Logitech c270) overwhelms the upload capacity of the connection and introduces tearing in the webcam footage and lag in the rest of the experience. My solution:Local PC uses the webcam and the sets up a Skype meeting room with the webcam footage. On the Shadow I then join the Skype meeting room and use OBS to capture the window and provide a software webcam on Shadow which can then be used in any other application. I’ve successfully used this in Discord. I use the microphone functionality of Shadow separately to capture that but it could easily be captured through the Skype feed. This setup seems to use 1-2Mbit upload speed and doe
