Red Dead Redemption 2 - After recent patch game crashes from main menu when choosing Single player, Multiplayer or Settings. It affects all of the shadow users I believe and some other unlucky folks. Im honestly surprised its not a thread here yet. There is a lot of threads on steam and other forums. My copy is thru Steam , but I believe it doesn't matter muchAny recommendations online were not able to resolve this issue incl:Editing settings. file to switch DX12 to Vulkan and back Windowed or fullscreenHDR On/OffAsync On/OffReinstalling whole game Reinstalling / updating drivers Logging in under new user Run as administrator (game wont even start)Running game in Offline mode - Forever loading screenWindows Event viewer doesnt show any reason for app crashing.Literally nothing works, last update just bricked the game completely for us My only guess knowing shadow system is some kind of game/online protection that now affects Shadow remote machines. I submitted a ticked to Rockstar. Hop

First, let’s make things right. Shadow is not a library of games. And that’s a good thing. Because it’s much much more! Why? Just because. But also: 👉 On Shadow, you can play any game from Steam, EpicStore, etc. pretty much any game launcher you like! 👉 You’re more of an Indie game player? We’ve got you covered: you can download your favorite games on Shadow! 👉 And of course, do much more than gaming. But if you’re here, we bet you already knew that! So yes, Shadow can support pretty much any game under specific conditions: as long as Shadow meets the hardware requirements for a specific game and the developer allows virtualization, we’re all set! That being said, you wanted us to publish a list of games that we tried on Shadow. Unfortunately, we don’t have someone (yet?) to try ALL the games that exist on Shadow (if we do, please help me get that job). In the meantime, here is a list of popular games among Shadow users: Call of Duty: Modern Warfare L
Morning All, Really hope someone on here can help with this one as I haven’t found a single working solution online and Microsoft don’t seem to care. Basically any game that is in the XBOX Game Pass (PC) app or Windows Store that states “Administrator Approval Required for Installation” will not update if it was installed prior to that note being added or install at all. Example Gears Tactics was working fine until it needed an update and now the update won’t download. Uninstalling works but then you can’t reinstall as it won’t download. Streets of Rage 4 does not have that note and installs and updates without issue. I have reset my shadow, updated Windows completely and have all the latest drivers installed and the result is the same. Prior to this Steam, GOG, Epic and other launchers all worked fine with out issue. Anyone have any ideas?
Ever wanted to know what our more experienced Shadowers do to get that sweet, buttery gaming experience? Look no further! Below are some of the top tips and tricks we gathered from our various community experts. So buckle up, strap in, and off we go!1. Always backup your dataSave your data on an external hard drive or a cloud storage provider. In any case, make sure that any important data you have on your Shadow is backed up on a secondary platform.2. Shut down your Shadow after useThis prevents you from experiencing any start-up issues in the future. You can think of it like running your computer 24/7. Computers need a break too!3. Plug and play USB devicesUSB mice and keyboards just need to be plugged in so you can start using them. Same with Xbox controllers! If you’re having trouble using another USB device, check out our Help Article!4. Lock your cursor if you’re playing an FPS game (for Mac, use Input monitoring). Use the mouse lock shortcut Win+Alt+M for Windows or Cmd+Alt+M on
Hello there, As many of you know, Vanguard, the new Riot anti-cheat system, denied Shadow players' access to Valorant. Discussions between Blade and Riot are in progress, but final decision is up to Riot. To show to Riot how we are determinate and impatient to play Valorant, we have launched the #FreeValorantShadow and a petition with about 50 signatures at the moment. If you want to play Valorant, feel free to share your wishes on twitter with #FreeValorantShadow Edit : petition link - - > http://chng.it/PBbM9x6VWh

Step 4 :Setting up the ApowerMirror app* It's simple, just open the
We heard you, #TeamShadow! Thanks to your continued feedback in the past weeks, we are happy to announce mouse & keyboard support on the iOS Shadow TestFlight app in this latest update (3.0.1). Please note, you must have iOS 13.4+ installed on your device and we cannot support games that require the locked cursor feature.Download the iOS app on TestFlight now. Other key updates: PS4 gamepad users couldn't play some games, so we introduced the "Playstation extended compatibility". Simply choose this option in settings and it will work like a charm. The first time you launch Shadow with this new update, you will be asked if you want it to handle your drivers. You can change this at anytime in your settings. Many of you had issues trying to connect to Shadow, this problem has been solved. In the previous release, users encountered bugs or crashes when going from background to foreground. This is now fixed too. Last but not least, some iPad users were stuck with 12 FPS. We also fi

I have been playing the new Flight Simulator since it came out and I love it, however, I was expecting better FPS (I have Shadow Ultra). When I first loaded into the game, it set the graphics automatically to medium, but I thought that was not correct so I tried with High-End instead. I went into a flight on a medium-sized airport with a propeller aircraft and the FPS were really not good. I had around 15-20 fps in or out of the cockpit. So I changed back to medium and things got a tiny bit better, but not much. Now in the cockpit I had around 20-25 fps, and outside I had a bit more, roughly 30 fps. I decided to watch a series of videos from Squirrel about setting up the sim, I spent many hours tweaking graphics, figuring out what degraded the perfomance and all that. I came to this conclusion: I can not play on High-End graphics, only Medium. The factors that contribute the most to the FPS are the airport, the plane you’re using, and whether or not you are in the cockpit. So, let’s s
I am running macOS Big Sur (11.2.1) but for the life of me can’t get my Xbox One controller to connect. The Xbox controller is plugged into my Mac via hardwire USB.I don’t even see any USB settings in the Shadow macOS launcher. What am I missing? Here is the version of the Shadow client I am running:
So I heard that Shadow supports Android and iOS mobile devices, aka your phone and tablet. I was wondering, however, how would you be able to play PC-made games that weren’t designed for mobile. Do you need a controller? Will Shadow give you on-screen controls? What happens and how does it work?
i have a trustmaster T300 alcatara edition I've been trying to use this on shadow for a long time but I can't get it to work it works a bit but the force feed back doesn't work i have installed all the drivers but then the healing send no longer works can anyone help me?
As it’s one of the biggest releases of 2020, and one of the most demanding and beautiful, I thought it’d be good to have a discussion going! I’m personally having little luck! The full install is a massive 152Gb, which unfortunately is greater than the (roughly) 125Gb you have available with Shadow if just keeping the essential files. Doesn’t look like additional storage is available at the moment so I’m out of luck. Has anybody else had any joy with it? Would be a great title to show off :)
I am looking into getting a reasonably low-cost ($100-250) mini-PC to run Shadow on for my living room TV. There are tons of options on Amazon, but I am not really sure which would be give me the best experience. Does anyone have any experience with this? What are your suggestions? Thanks!

Hi Guys, Maybe i want to buy the new chromecast with Google TV. Do you guys have any experience how well the Shadow Android TV app is working on this device?I am planning to use it with the Xbox One Wireless controller. Its a fairly new device and i am hoping somebody tested it and can give me some feedback :) Its maybe a good alternative from the Shadow Ghost, is cheap and the availability is better than he shadow Ghost (havent seen the Ghost in stock for a long time in the EU sadly).
So, the story here is (it is a TLDR story don’t worry): I bought an Oculus Quest a couple of months ago. Enjoyed the library of games. Then looked to getting into PCVR. Didn’t want to spend $$$$$ on a VR capable PC. Saw Shadow. Bought. Waited. Activated. Installed Steam, added 256GB extra HDD. Bought & installed Half Life Alyx. Installed Virtual Desktop on the Quest, then sideloaded to get full capabilities. Fiddled with settings in Virtual Desktop to get best experience. I am like 30 or so miles from the datacenter so latency is a non-issue (SO HAPPY) I am probably, right now, half-way through the game. Only complaints I have with the VR experience is when my internet (xfinity) has a wobble and the network lags causing 2fps for a few seconds. Sometimes need to reboot the Quest / Shadow to jump back in without lag issues. All in all, experience is at an 8/10. Most of the time it is a 9/10 due to my good internet and close proximity to the datacenter
Hello folks! This issue is NOT specific to Shadow gaming; however, it will potentially impact macOS Shadow users. The goal of this post is to collaborate, and gather information about it. When using an XBO controller connected via Bluetooth with a Mac computer, there is the potential for “mismatched controls,” seemingly dependent on the firmware version of the XBO controller. Specifically, a subset of both the right trigger and right analog stick functions “overlap,” completely breaking functionality. One example: run Steam in Big Picture Mode (on your Mac), then go to Settings - Controller Settings - Xbox One Controller (under Detected Controllers) - Calibrate. Then, slowly squeeze the right trigger, and notice how the "right stick" is moving on the Y axis. And if you move the right stick up and down, it moves on the X axis. The left/right triggers are supposed to only move the Z axis, whereas the right stick is supposed to only move the X and Y rotation. The controller functiona
